’Acting, huh...’
This was a line of work Lin Shen had never tried before, and it piqued his interest.
Of course, they called it "acting," but having watched so many sitcoms, he knew he probably wouldn’t even be on cara. He’d likely just be the caraman.
The real acting would have to co from Jiang Wan.
Since Lin Shen didn’t have much of a part, he readily agreed.
[Lin Shen: Okay, Jiang Wan. When are you planning to shoot?]
[Jiang Wan: That depends on when a busy man like you is free, of course. It’d be best to get it done in August, since I’ll probably be busy once the school season starts in September.]
[Lin Shen: How much ti would I need to free up each day?]
[Jiang Wan: An hour or two. There aren’t many scenes, so we can finish shooting in three or four days. The editing afterward is the more troubleso part.]
[Lin Shen: I have ti for that.]
[Jiang Wan: That’s great! Thank you, Junior Lin Shen! After we finish the whole script, I have a big surprise for you~ Look forward to it!]
A big surprise?
Jiang Wan’s ssage filled Lin Shen with anticipation, and his mind couldn’t help but start fantasizing.
’What could it be?’
’Could it be about her letting handle that "weapon" she ntioned last ti?’
’Or... sothing even more exciting?’
At that mont, Jiang Wan’s mischievous, devilish side was on full display, completely wrapping Lin Shen, who had thought himself a seasoned player, around her little finger.
But she was a woman of her word.
[Lin Shen: In that case, I’m really looking forward to the day we finish.]
[Jiang Wan: It’s sothing you’ll really like, I promise~ See you tomorrow at 9 a.m. Good night~]
[Jiang Wan: Goin’ to sleep.jpg]
[Lin Shen: Good night.]
A slight smile touched Lin Shen’s lips. He set his phone aside and, in high spirits, continued writing his plans on the computer.
After listing the tasks for cracking the app, he needed to ticulously plan his next steps.
First, what should he do with the new, over-100-square-ter shop after cleaning it?
Lin Shen thought for a mont and made a preliminary decision: knock down the wall between it and the Warm Paws Cat Cafe, connecting the two shops to create a massive, 160-plus-square-ter flagship Cat Cafe!
Of course, the question was whether the wall between them was a load-bearing wall.
If only part of it was, that would be fine. He could leave that section and build a circular sofa around the load-bearing column to seat guests.
But if the entire thing was load-bearing, he was screwed.
’I can’t be that unlucky, right...?’
Lin Shen smiled and, tapping on the keyboard, typed a "2" in the docunt.
After planning the use for the shop space, the next project was to prepare for establishing his own brand and company.
Na, business premises, business license...
All of this had to be done step by step. Lin Shen could feel a headache coming on.
He really wanted to find soone to help him handle these matters, and the best candidate was Qin Yuenan.
But she was busy and doing well at Pet Guardian Ho; she wouldn’t just suddenly quit to build sothing with him from scratch.
’One step at a ti.’
Lin Shen closed his eyes and kneaded his sore brow. Then, he took out a Concentration Pill from his inventory and swallowed it, hoping it would help him sort out his jumbled thoughts.
Soon, his troubles began to untangle themselves.
An hour later, at 9 p.m., when Lin Shen ca to his senses, he found that his computer docunt was now filled with incredibly detailed, densely packed steps.
It was as if the plan for what to do next had been broken down into bite-sized pieces and spoon-fed to him.
’This thing is practically an essential cheat code for studying and working!’
For the first ti, Lin Shen had a direct, tangible experience of the Concentration Pill’s power, and he was thrilled.
He stretched and then turned his mind to the last task of the night.
Buying a house!
After all, Lin Shen rembered clearly that he still had an unused Dream Real Estate Card.
’What kind of house can I get in Modu with a budget of 32 million?’
Lin Shen did a quick search online and found that there were quite a few options.
However, he had his own set of requirents.
First, it had to be a fully-furnished, move-in-ready ho—the kind you could just bring your bags to.
Lin Shen didn’t care if the house was new or secondhand, as long as he could take possession in a short amount of ti.
He didn’t want to spend half a year going back and forth with a real estate developer only to move in, and if he ended up with an unfinished building, he’d just have to chalk it up to bad luck.
By that point, the ship would have sailed.
Second, he wanted a large, single-floor apartnt on a high floor, preferably with a balcony that had massive, floor-to-ceiling windows.
That way, on a dusky evening, he could lie back in a rocking chair on the balcony, sipping tea while watching the sunset. It would be incredibly pleasant!
He hadn’t even started shopping, but Lin Shen was already getting excited.
And last but not least, the location didn’t have to be pri, but the surrounding environnt had to be suitable.
He didn’t want so deserted suburb; he might as well buy a villa if that were the case!
Lin Shen tried to filter his search based on his preferences, but with so many combined conditions, it was proving to be a bit of a hassle.
So he decided to unleash his "superpower of cash," planning to go with Lizxing, a large real estate agency specializing in luxury properties, and have them find listings that t his requirents.
Although they charged a 1.5% commission fee after a successful transaction with the hoowner, the fee was split between both parties.
Moreover, Lizxing would also provide optimal tax plans, customized property recomndations, free legal consultations, and more.
Lin Shen didn’t think it was a bad deal to pay for these services.
So, after registering an account with Lizxing, he figured it was too late tonight and decided he’d think about house hunting when he had more free ti.
But an exclusive consultant from the agency contacted him almost imdiately.
[Exclusive Consultant Chen: Hello, Mr. Lin. I am Chen, an exclusive consultant from Lizxing. How may I help you? There is no charge for our current communication or any subsequent viewings.]
