Obviously, Lin Shen’s intentions were crystal clear.
The corners of Jiang Wan’s mouth turned up slightly as she looked at him with a playful smile.
"Lin Shen, why did you book a room with a king-sized bed?"
"Because there weren’t any rooms with two beds left."
Lin Shen seed to have his excuse ready, explaining with a perfectly straight face.
"After all, this was a spontaneous trip. Plus, the end of sumr break is peak tourist season, so it’s hard to book a good sea-view room just one day in advance. This one is already pretty great—it even has a living room and a private bathroom. What do you think?"
"It is pretty nice."
Jiang Wan loved it just from the view of the sea outside the window.
However, regarding the matter of the king-sized bed, it seed as if Lin Shen had beco the cunning hunter.
But as for who was the prey and who was the hunter... that would depend on how both of them perford tonight.
At least, Jiang Wan thought, ’This is just what I wanted!’
"Want to go for a walk?"
"Okay."
The two had slept all morning in the business class cabin of the high-speed train. Fully rested and recharged, they were now at their most energetic.
On top of that, the weather was cooperating, giving them a perfectly overcast day.
Even so, they had to be thorough with their sun protection by the sea. A mont of carelessness could lead to a nasty sunburn.
So, Jiang Wan took out so sunscreen spray and furiously spritzed her face and neck before giving Lin Shen a generous coating as well.
The scene gave him a sense of déjà vu.
When he went to Jinling, Qin Yuenan had also thoughtfully and ticulously helped him put on sunscreen.
The two won were remarkably similar in this regard.
"Let’s go."
Once their pre-outing preparations were complete, Jiang Wan affectionately linked her arm with Lin Shen’s, and they left the hotel together.
Because their travel plans had been made in a hurry, the two could only choose from Qin Island’s most famous attractions to avoid any tourist traps.
First up was the Pier.
The Pier was especially bustling during the day. It seed to be a must-visit for anyone traveling to Qin Island for the first ti.
Azure water lapped against the moss-covered pylons, kicking up fine spray.
A cool breeze swept by, carrying the briny scent of the sea.
"There are so many people."
Looking at the sea of people on the Pier, Jiang Wan excitedly grabbed Lin Shen’s hand and pulled him forward.
"Let’s go join the crowd!"
The two squeezed through the crowd at the entrance and strolled along the deck of the pier.
The concrete path underfoot was worn smooth and faded by ti, while the railings on either side were covered in traces left by the sea breeze.
Of course, there were also many photographers offering paid shoots.
But with Lin Shen around, there was clearly no need to consider them.
He took out his cara. Even though the Pier was packed with people, he was able to use a low-angle, upward-facing shot to replace the chaotic background with either the empty blue sky or the octagonal flying eaves of the Huilan Pavilion.
This technique highlighted Jiang Wan’s gentle and stunning beauty.
The other tourists seed quite courteous, too, quickly moving around Lin Shen and casting amazed glances her way.
After all, Jiang Wan’s gentle disposition was truly outstanding.
Combined with her delicate, beautiful face and her incredibly eye-catching figure.
This made many of the other guys look at Lin Shen with eyes full of envy.
’If I had a girlfriend with a body like that, forget taking pictures for her, I’d be willing to slave away for her!’
"Got it!"
Lin Shen walked over to Jiang Wan and showed her the photos he had just taken, earning excited applause and praise.
"Beautiful! They’re so beautiful! You really are a professional photographer!"
"You’re too kind."
Lin Shen smiled humbly. Seeing this, Jiang Wan suddenly suggested,
"You go stand where I was. I’ll use the sa technique to take a few pictures of you."
"?"
"Yes! We ca all this way, we have to commorate it, right?"
"Okay, but do you know how to use a cara?"
"I’m a social dia blogger! How dare you question my side hustle! Hmph!"
"My apologies!"
"Stand still, okay? I’m about to start. Look here... one, two, three!"

Guys generally have very little desire to be in photos.
Even when visiting a tourist spot for the first ti, they’re more likely to just take pictures of the scenery and rarely take selfies.
For guys, the significance of taking the photo often outweighs the significance of the photo itself.
But traveling with Jiang Wan this ti was indeed a morable occasion.
It was just a bit of a sha that the sea wasn’t in the background, but with so many people around, the effect probably wouldn’t have been that great even if it were.
"All done."
After taking pictures of Lin Shen with the cara, Jiang Wan pulled him over to take several sets of sweet and intimate couple selfies with her phone.
Cheeks pressed together, arms linked tightly, and even a snapshot of a shy kiss.
All that could be said was, when it ca to providing emotional value, Jiang Wan was definitely better than Qin Yuenan—and by a long shot.
After leaving the Pier, the two headed to their second stop—Saint Nier Church.
As the largest Gothic building on Qin Island, this Catholic church was also one of the highest points in the old town.
The plaza in front of the church was already packed with tourists taking photos and resting. There was even a large gathering of street vendors, making the area feel exceptionally lively.
Lin Shen and Jiang Wan didn’t linger here for long. After a brief tour, they headed to Signal Hill Park.
After all, it was the best place to watch the sunset.
Viewed from a distance, Signal Hill Park in the evening seed to be gently draped in a warm filter, every inch of light and shadow steeped in tenderness and languor.
So, Lin Shen decisively led Jiang Wan up to the summit, hoping to make it before sunset.
Luckily, they made it!
When the two reached the summit, the setting sun was hanging at an angle over Jiaozhou Bay, right where the sky t the water. It painted the heavens in a gradient that transitioned from orange-red to a pale violet.
