Now reading: Chapter 17 - 16: Elemental Swordsman from Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild, a Fantasy novel by Ephemera in an instant.

The setup in Zoe’s parents’ room is also quite simple, but there are noticeably more things than in her room.

There’s a bookshelf, a wardrobe, a shelf, and a set of table and chairs along with a mirror. Li Ang suspected the bottles and jars on it were costics.

The wardrobe and shelves are basically empty, with no obvious signs of use. It seems they didn’t bring much when they ca to the island.

However, there are quite a few books on the bookshelf.

Li Ang imdiately noticed Nebis’s famous fairy tale, "The Sword King’s Adventure."

Seeing Li Ang’s gaze fall on the bookshelf, Zoe walked over, pointing at one of the book spines: "I learned those phrases from this book."

Li Ang took the book out and imdiately frowned.

"My Secret with the Rebellious Young Lady in the Forest Mansion."

He flipped through it casually and felt his expression probably resembled that of "a baffled old man on the subway."

Although there wasn’t any explicit content, it was already in the realm of an erotic novel.

He shoved the book back into the shelf and noticed there was a series of similar readings nearby, wondering if there might actually be so banned books among them.

"These all belong to my mom," Zoe said.

Your mother is really...

"You haven’t read all of them, have you?" Li Ang asked.

"No, I just read the one you took out, I didn’t really understand it, and today you said I misunderstood what it ant."

"That’s right, you shouldn’t read them in the future, these books will lead you astray."

Probably due to its ambiguous language, Zoe, who grew up alone from first grade, wasn’t quite able to fully comprehend the content.

"Then what is right, you teach ."

Huh? , teach?

The three days on Satus Island have been no less headache-inducing than planning tactics with the Celestial Group.

"Let’s not talk about this anymore."

Li Ang looked at the other shelves and found so books on geography, maps, and ancient legends.

"These are my dad’s books," Zoe explained.

If her parents were Sky Knights, it seems her father led the direction of their adventures.

Among a row of books, one with the keyword "sword" caught Li Ang’s attention. He pulled it out and saw the title "Mysteries of Elents and Swordsmanship."

"Dad wanted to learn this. I’ve always been practicing according to it," the young girl said.

Is that so?

Li Ang opened the book to find it was a manuscript, and though it was unsigned, it was highly likely her dad had written it.

On the first page, the book elaborated on so intricate swordsmanship theories. Even though Li Ang had t so top-tier swordsn, he hadn’t practiced any close combat professions, so he couldn’t quite grasp it.

Flipping through a few more pages, he confird it was a sword manual, a guide for cultivating a special profession.

This profession was likely a unique creation of Zoe’s father, who must have been a top-tier expert.

Even if Li Ang reached tier nine in his professional advancent, just a step away from legendary tier ten, even though he could compose original spells using curse runes, even with invitations to teach from the City of Magic’s higher institutions, he was still far from understanding the creation of a new profession.

Quickly flipping through a few pages, he saw the book was divided into four Chapters, each explaining how to fuse wind, earth, water, and fire elents with swordsmanship, producing elental magic-like effects when wielding the sword.

The difficulty of learning the Four Elents Swordsmanship progressed increntally, so that’s why Zoe practiced wind elent swordsmanship.

Li Ang’s thoughts were invigorated as he heard the system’s prompt.

[Prompt: Special Profession Inheritance detected, importing... Import complete, Special Profession: Elental Swordsman cultivation strategy generated]

[Main Control can now assu the profession of Swordsman. Can advance to Elental Swordsman at tier four.]

[Similar profession detected: Warrior, assuming the profession of Swordsman can directly transfer so experience progress.]

[Professions: Elental Master, Wizard, Mage can decrease the difficulty of advancing to Elental Swordsman and transfer experience progress.]

This book really was a complete swordsmanship inheritance.

This special profession Li Ang was certainly going to cultivate. Previously, he had been limited by casters’ restraints in so crisis situations. Now with the system, he wanted to cultivate a close combat profession to cover his weaknesses; it was like a pillow when you’re sleepy.

To Zoe’s father, whom I’ve never t, thank you. In return, I’ll take care of your daughter... for a while.

"What are you thinking?" Zoe gently asked from the side.

Coming back from the system panel, Li Ang smiled and said to her, "This is an excellent sword manual, a treasure your dad left for you, so keep it safe."

"I practice diligently every morning, following the daily regin Dad suggested," the young girl pouted.

She’s indeed truthful.

A tier two swordsman is nothing notable across the Aerial Realm, but at her age, many races are still growing physically and haven’t yet reached their peak in mana perception. Even for close combat professions, it is the ambient mana they rely on to toughen their bodies.

Many future top-tier experts at her age weren’t even on her level yet.

And this sword manual’s language is quite intricate. It would take her ti to fully grasp it even with her reading ability, and yet she managed to master the "Secret Technique: Gales of Fury" on her own.

A diligent and eager-to-learn child always endears people; watching her focused expression, Li Ang couldn’t help but gently pat her head.

"I’ve understood this book, and I’ll teach you in the future."

Zoe was startled at first but then didn’t resist, flashing a slight smile at him.

There was nothing else significant to note on the bookshelf, and there wasn’t much else in the room, with most of it providing little information.

However, Li Ang eventually discovered sothing.

In a hidden corner of the shelf, there was a round tal object.

"What’s this? I’ve never seen it before."

It was dusty and inconspicuous. Holding it, Li Ang and Zoe both leaned in closer to inspect it.

Its position placed it just out of the small girl’s line of sight.

Brushing the dust off with his thumb, Li Ang confird his suspicion.

This was a rank dal issued by the Sky Knight Guild, and judging by the flying airship wing pattern on it, Li Ang knew it belonged to a Sky Knight ranked between 2000 to 50000 in the entire Aerial Realm, bearing the title: High-tier Knight.

Though fifty thousand might seem like a big number, in the vast Aerial Realm, it’s quite rare.

And those ranked between 100 to 2000 are Great Knights, Li Ang being among them, his dal has a cross of gun and sword on top of the wing pattern.

The top 100 are titled "Holy Knights," a prestigious honor all adventurers dream of achieving.

Rankings depend mostly on rit and can roughly be seen as a asure of strength, but not entirely.

"Your parents were indeed Sky Knights, ranked rather high, implying they embarked on many adventures."

Li Ang handed the dal to the girl.

"This is their rank dal, and it can be seen as a pass in many places."

Zoe blinked her clear eyes, unaware of it all.

"Go to many places for free als," she asked, "Is the food tasty?"

"It’s quite decent."

The guild’s culinary partners provide varied allocation based on rank, and at the High-tier Knight level, als are free. In Li Ang’s opinion, soone used to fine dining still finds the food flavorful.

"Can I go eat too?"

"You probably can’t; they need to verify your identity."

Zoe looked very disappointed.

"Besides, to eat, you’d have to go to islands outside, you..."

Li Ang didn’t finish his sentence before Zoe shook her head rapidly, returning the dal to Li Ang.

"You don’t want to leave the island?" he asked.
