Now reading: Chapter 391 - 219: Mind the Applicability 2 from Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild, a Fantasy novel by Ephemera in an instant.

After a few seconds of silence, she suddenly turned and bumped her fat pouch against , the hard, coarse thing scraping across my chest muscles.

The half-elf cast a silky-smooth gaze, slowly sweeping up from below: "You’re not very promising, huh. Maybe I should help you again?"

"Then you might lose control again and pass out, which would delay things. How would we explain it to them?"

"True," she sighed, "there’s also them."

"Sigh, I’m just a golden canary who can sing and dance when you are interested. Cats are for company, and the bull and dog help with life—any of them are more useful than a canary."

She grumbled to herself while dressing, though she belittled her own worth, still flaunting her charm.

This was routine; Li Ang ignored her, and once they spruced up and checked that nothing was out of place, their guilty hearts synchronized as they stepped out the door together.

As they passed through the living room, Li Ang glanced at the golem with a sigh.

"What do you an?" Dorothy asked.

"I wanted to research opening a dinsional rift tonight to store it, but you’ve ruined it all."

The half-elf angrily slapped him and then jabbed him repeatedly with her finger.

The two of them chased each other downstairs, just in ti to bump into Zoe and the other three on their way down.

"Hmm."

The little cat imdiately bit her lip: "What are you guys doing? Weren’t we just supposed to check on cultivation progress? Why hasn’t Dorothy returned to the inn?"

Her red eyes, now reminiscent of a beast, bore not only their inherent ruby hue but also the bloodshot lines and a certain harsh aggressiveness from restless sleep.

Ansu, with her beast-like pupils as well, had narrowed golden irises fixed on the pair, wanting to speak but held back upon receiving a look from Dorothy that communicated a ssage only they could understand, causing her to remain silent and stand close to Li Ang.

"I was exhausted from Li Ang’s trials and just fell asleep, haha." Dorothy feigned a helpless, lazy deanor.

ALulu bounced over, playfully bumping into people: "Good morning, brother."

The previous tenderness still lingered over Li Ang, who hadn’t fully reestablished his dominant position as big brother; he playfully declared himself the patriarch of the household.

"You guys are in new clothes?" he hastily altered the subject with a forced smile.

It seed that, during their shopping trip yesterday, they bought not only the racy school uniforms but other outfits as well.

Ansu’s tomboyish attire was perfectly suited, crisp and neat, standing distinct without competing with fairy-like Zoe and Dorothy, yet highlighting her own presence.

Zoe’s outfit likely wasn’t her own choice; though she looked good in anything, like her past hairstyle, styling it aptly enhanced her look.

Today, she donned a cute, form-fitting waistcoat and knee-high pleated skirt. The white stockings on her legs created an absolute territory for the first ti, matching perfectly with the shiny black leather shoes for dramatic girlish appeal, making her the focal point anywhere she went.

ALulu... Well, Li Ang felt triggered due to her consistent choice of attire.

She was fine in all other areas but was completely indifferent about how outsiders viewed her clothing choices.

Her clothing seed to ignore everyone else’s advice, choosing shorts at hot pants level, fully displaying the horned race’s fleshy legs, and only a much-too-large denim jacket on top—an eye-catching contrast of stark white underneath, almost warranting cooling vents but crossed the line.

"Didn’t you try advising her?" Li Ang asked the other three.

"Why should we? Brother, it’s even not too warm dressed like this."

"So, your standard is the less cooling, the less of a problem?" Li Ang inquired.

Seeing the cow’s nod, he couldn’t help but facepalm.

This would’ve been better if she wore a bustier.

"Fine, it’s alright, no worries."

He thought, the others aren’t much better either, just cover up a bit while walking.

Li Ang led the young girls into the shopping district to pick out swimwear.

The real challenge was just starting.

He’d never gone shopping with girls for such clothes before.

Even when with luna, the female sword hero had her mind full of sword paths, turning dates halfway into waiting for her to comprehend the way of the sword, ditating cross-legged on a park bench until sunset.

Sotis, he’d help her verify the sword path by dragging him to the wilderness halfway through the date.

After so training, if she got into the mood, she would knock Li Ang down on the spot.

Clothes shopping? If he didn’t rack his brains pairing outfits, she would be a complete mismatched ss.

He also didn’t have a chance for swimming pool or lakeside outings; not only was she unaware of the fun, Li Ang feared she might suddenly grasp sothing about water sword paths, launching water blades and inadvertently hurt soone.

Dressed by Li Ang, she’d show her natural beauty, sparking rumors saying he got incredibly lucky; if soone else had noticed this side of her, they could have claid the matchless female sword hero as theirs.

However, Li Ang believed hardly anyone in Nebis could tolerate her personality.

He couldn’t fathom how he had endured.

Shaking his head to dispel the mories, he saw Zoe’s smiling face. She cheerfully held up an adorable, orange swimsuit: "Does this look nice?"

"It looks great, suits you."

With her chestnut hair and sunny vitality, the orange suited her well.

Dorothy, from afar, raised her chin, signaling she had picked it out, seeking credit.

Each of the four picked a cute, modestly revealing swimsuit to compare.

Mmm, this will do.

Li Ang thought there was no need for anything more extre; though the dark side of him was curious, common sense told him moderation was key to keeping things under control.

Yet, even so, Ansu seed a little shy.

She held a swimsuit with a black pleated front, pointing out the hanging pleat: "If I wear this, won’t lifting my hands show, show everything?"

Dorothy rolled her eyes and flipped the pleat upwards.

"Yah!"

Ansu squealed nervously, then realized there was another layer underneath; the pleat was just decorative.

"What are you thinking? Who would wear it like that? I can’t tell if you’re pure or just have a filthy mind," Dorothy sighed.

After saying this, she and Li Ang glanced at ALulu.

The two exchanged knowing looks.

That cow was the real problem.

In Nebis, given the horned race’s unusual talents, ALulu’s size was available, but style-wise, who knew what thought process would dictate her choice.

Sure enough, she carried the skimpiest set of fabric in the store, maybe even the whole Holy City, considering wearing sothing more like strings than swimsuits.

"Lulu," Dorothy approached earnestly, "you’ll be in water when swimming, so you don’t need to dress like this. It’s too distracting for others."

"Okay."

Her bright eyes wandered, settling on Li Ang: "What do you think, brother?"

"Don’t consider what he likes!" Dorothy hurried to change the subject.

"If brother likes it, won’t it be just us on the boat?" ALulu remained unaffected.

"We’ll discuss that when the ti cos; for now, don’t think about it. Overall, this isn’t right."

Dorothy’s voice suddenly wavered a bit.

The other two kept silent and looked for alternatives.

Li Ang felt a bit odd with the previous atmosphere, but the clerks’ curious glances weren’t helping. Without further thought, he left the store.

Zoe avoided the other three, quietly slipping a sheer swimsuit beneath the cute orange one in her basket, her face blushing while checking in the mirror.

Hah, I knew from Li Ang’s expression he liked it.

You girls go ahead wearing what you want; I’ll pick one that keeps him thinking of all day.

Recalling the four’s promise, she displayed a triumphant smile.

Sorry, ladies, there’s no way I’m giving up on Li Ang.

The chestnut-haired girl humd as she hid the delicate piece under the orange suit.
