Li Ang tapped his temple and sighed, "Don’t do this, it’s very dangerous."
Li Ang grabbed her hand and closed the curtain, isolating the breathtaking view.
"Listen, my animal instincts are indeed on the verge of a riot, but I feel—"
Dorothy’s eyes shifted, "In this place separated by just one wall, you can do whatever you like, pose in any manner. You’ve invisibly stepped on their heads, don’t you enjoy this sense of forbidden conquest?"
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Hmm?"
"After I help you ’take revenge’ like this, are you really planning to give up everything?"
Dorothy froze, the redness on her cheeks and neck stalled, then slowly retreated.
"How, how do you know..."
"Because even though you’ve been struggling with yourself for years, you never sought outsiders. It feels strange, but you’ve always relied on yourself for support. You clearly have sothing, but now you’re saying you don’t care."
"But suddenly," Dorothy’s emotions burst forth, "I suddenly don’t think living is a good thing. No one in this world loves . It’s not because I did sothing wrong; I don’t understand, I really don’t understand."
"Or maybe I was unnecessary from the start, and taking risks won’t an anything, no one will love ."
The young girl cried, her body curling up even more.
Rip.
Li Ang heard the sound of fabric tearing, tender green vines pierced the skin on the shoulder blade of the young girl, spreading and growing behind her, intertwining and stretching in the narrow passage.
At the tip of a vine, a white bud ford and blood into a beautiful five-petaled white flower with thorns for stans, like a creature sniffing its surroundings. Li Ang felt its spirituality gradually becoming agitated, seeming to want to break its connection with the girl, beginning to seek blood and death.
Dorothy stared dazedly at the blooming white flower when suddenly a warm sensation pressed against her cheek.
The girl was startled, finding it was Li Ang’s palm transmitting warmth to her.
"What is love, it’s a rather complex matter, hard to summarize, but I can assure you, your mother always loved you."
"Liar. If she loved , why let suffer like this?"
"Maybe in her view, this is the best outco she could leave for you."
Li Ang said, "The warmth of the palm, or the warmth of a hug, is the first feeling an infant experiences from its mother. This feeling establishes the baby’s understanding of human connections, which is a kind of love, the love a mother passes on to her child.
"On this basis, the child can perceive others’ emotions, develop empathy.
"No matter if it was eight years ago or now, I never thought you’re unaware of others’ feelings, indicating you must have grown up in your mother’s embrace. When she was healthy, she always held you, later even reprimanding you when you made mistakes, she must have loved you."
The agitation of the Demon-Born Flower eased sowhat.
Li Ang shook his head, "Perhaps like you just saw through your second brother, your mother might have seen through the Campbell Family due to a series of events.
"Planting the seed would fully heal her, she is an Elf Princess, if she wanted, the seed of the Demon-Born Flower wouldn’t have co to you.
"But she still gave you the seed, probably thinking that letting you live with the seed is the most likely way for you to find happiness."
"But this seems more like a curse," Dorothy cried.
"I’ve read so ancient texts ntioning the Demon-Born Flower was used by ancient elves to cultivate legendary warriors, your mom might know a bit about it. She surely knows this would make your life harder, yet she also planted within you the power to break the chains of destiny.
"Use the Sword Core of the Demon-Born Flower to tear destiny apart."
The shimring tears in Dorothy’s eyes blurred Li Ang’s face as the azure vine behind her swayed softly, coiling and stretching out like wings unfolding.
Then, every vine blood dense small white flowers, each one opening quickly, soon covering the vines entirely. In an instant, it seed like two flower-ford wings spread out behind the half-elf maiden.
She stood up, pulled Li Ang’s hand, and set foot ahead.
Passing through the dark corridor, they reached the room where the Pale Hound slept, a flower wing suddenly swept towards the demon dog. Upon contact, it separated into countless flower-covered vines, tightly binding it.
The razor-sharp stans of the white flower instantly sliced through the demon dog’s skin, which cried miserably, its blood nurturing the Demon Flower to bloom more lavishly.
The two bodies were of the sa tier, the struggling Pale Hound endlessly tore at the azure vine, emitting creaking noises, seemingly unable to bear much.
However, the other flower wing behind the girl also spread out, each vine like roots, directly piercing into the void, faintly audible was the sound of tiny thunder.
Li Ang watched this anomaly, amazed, this is truly the magical creation used by ancient civilizations. Its vine-like stems could naturally anchor in the Magic Power Dinsion and extract power from it.
Pure magic power fueled the demon flower trapping the demon dog into frenzied growth, a huge bud blood at the top, like a creature full of teeth, it bit off the head of the Pale Hound.
Throwing the body aside, the white flower vine reached forward, grabbing the tal door of the treasure vault, instantly twisting it into knots, revealing what lay behind.
