Now reading: Chapter 51: Xavier Astraeus Zenith from First Intergalactic Emperor: Starting With The Ancient Goddess, a Sci-fi novel by NoWoRRyMaN.

"You did so digging?!" Xavier breathed hitched. "That’s... not possible. No one knows... no one should know my father’s full na. Even in the village, only a few of them know, mostly the council of elders."

"Yes, it was hard to find information about you or the village. Since the data is not available anywhere. Except... for one place."

Xavier’s mind raced. ’It is unlikely that soone from the village has betrayed us. Such a thing or even the concept doesn’t exist in the village. And of course, father would have known about it if that was the case. Unless father lets it... no, father wouldn’t do that since it’s related to the goddess and his prophethood.’

"You don’t have to be so serious about it. I can tell you from where I obtained the information. And of course, no one else would know it through . I am not your enemy."

Cassian had a smile on his face, and his eyes matched it.

Xavier shook his head. "No need. I know where you got the information from."

After a brief pause, he added, "My mother."

"Yes. Since she registered for her marriage, she added your father’s na."

"Did you et her?" Xavier asked with an emotionless face. He didn’t seem curious to know the answer, but it was important for him to know.

"No. I just used my power as a senator to get information about confidential data about you. Of course, there was no link between you or your mother since the data hadn’t been updated, so no one else can even think about finding you through that. And obviously your family background is safe, too." He reassured.

"Then how did you find out?"

"Well, I just connected so dots."

"Then everyone can connect the dots like you."

"Don’t worry." Cassian tapped on a small orb-like console on his desk and a holographic display popped up. "As I said, I used my power as a senator to access confidential data. No one other than can do that. And, as a token of goodwill, I deleted that data."

"Why are you doing all this? If this is your way of telling not to get involved with Oliver, then I won’t do that." Xavier frowned his face a little as he looked into Cassian’s eyes. His nervousness from before had vanished, and it was replaced by confidence.

Cassian kept the smile on his face and uttered, "Xavier Astreaus Zenith. Are you a prophet?"

"....!" Xavier’s eyes widened in surprise. ’Just how much does he know? Wait, how does he even know that? Should I ask him... no, that would an I am agreeing to it. Should I just play dumb?’ he asked himself.

"Please, don’t be wary of . I am your friend." Cassian wanted to ease the mood, but it wasn’t working. Xavier was on his guard, and he wasn’t going to say a word to him.

"..."

After realizing how cautious Xavier was, Cassian let out a soft sigh and uttered, "Okay. I will tell you my secret then."

"I don’t think your secret will—"

Before Xavier could finish, Cassian interrupted, "I am not a human."

"What?!" Xavier exclaid and inspected Cassian from head to toe with his hand under his chin. "No matter what you say, you look like a human."

"I should have phrased myself better. I am from another galaxy, or at least my ancestry is. We look mostly like humans, but we have so biological changes in our bodies. Mostly from inside. Although I am no different from a human, and neither is Oliver. We are 99% humans. Our ancestors ca here during the first great intergalactic war, and stayed here. They got married and, well, let’s say their children evolve— no, devolved would be a better word."

"What does that change? I am sure everyone knows about that. And even if it is supposed to be a secret, it won’t change your world."

"Hmm." Cassian humd in amusent. "Well, I guess that’s true. But that’s not what I want to talk about. Did you see the two statues outside the house?"

"Yeah. They looked... magnificent."

"They are the two gods we worshiped on our planet. And by we, I ant my ancestors. They even fought in the intergalactic war and helped humans. Although they have ascended now, for generations, our family has taught us about the gods and prophets— well, they are technically just powerful, high extraterrestrial beings that have transcended above everything.

Just like my ancestors, your ancestors also took part in the intergalactic war. In fact, they played a crucial role in the war. Your ancestors held superpowers, which at that ti was unheard of among humans. I don’t have the knowledge of the exact details— since information gets lost in ti and it has been millennia since then— but your family served the Goddess nad Astrea, who is known as the symbol of justice and impartiality. She is one of the ancient ones and even my gods didn’t know much about her. What I have been told is your ancestry doesn’t belong to this planet either. But they ca hundreds of thousands of years ago, unlike the other... Well, aliens."

Xavier listened to Cassian with utmost focus and curiosity.

"My ancestors and your ancestors were brothers in arms, at least during the wars. And since then, both of our families have been acquaintances. It stopped a few hundreds years ago because your ancestors still practiced the tradition of living in seclusion, devoid of everything. While my ancestors lived... a life. I am not sure how to say that.

According to our testants, soone from the Vosstreaus— oh, that’s my true family na, by the way. Soone from our bloodline will beco great friends with the Astraeus family. Over the years, my ancestors thought they were the ones the testants talked about. But... I think they were wrong."

"Xavier," Cassian looked at Xavier with a purpose. "Is this what they call destiny?"

’Again with this destiny! Bull talked about it. Even father talked about it when he sent to this city! Everyone keeps talking about it! To hell with it! Oliver and I beca friends because we wanted to, not because of so stupid destiny!’ Xavier clenched his fists in anger and frustration.

"If the testants are true, then it was clearly referring to you and Oliver. The eting of you two was fated— although that sounds romantic, that’s not sothing under our control. I can’t control fate, neither can you."

After a pause, he added, "Even if you are a prophet."

"What if I am a God, instead?" Xavier’s red eyes shined golden for a split second.

A/N- This was a very important Chapter, and everything up to now led us to this point. Makes you wonder how everything works in the world. I wanted to get this Chapter done to let the readers know that this novel is not just a cute high school bully revenge fairytale; the scale is too big, and the dangers that co with it.

The old readers might be aware, but to those who aren’t, the previous title of this novel was: "Unlimited Money System: I Beca the Intergalactic Emperor."
