Hong iling reached out with her large, steady hands and smoothly scooped Flandre up into her arms. Flandre didn't offer a single shred of resistance, allowing herself to be held as comfortably as a precious porcelain doll as the group walked out of the stadium and returned to the comrcial center's counter to exchange their winning voucher.
There were absolutely no bureaucratic issues with the payout, nor did any corrupt officials demand they spend their winnings on specific local rchandise or donate a percentage to a state charity. To Remilia and her companions, a thousand gold coins was indeed a very significant sum of money; after all, their single biggest logistical expense on this entire Terran journey so far—the heavy transport carriage and the sturdy Cal-beasts—had only cost them about thirty gold coins in total.
But for Kazimierz, a true comrcial empire that raked in oceans of gold by the day through global broadcasting and corporate sponsorships, a thousand gold coins was rely the output of a single breath. As a massive state institution, the Comrcial Federation wouldn't be so incredibly stingy over such a trivial amount, especially when acting shady would risk ruining their international sports reputation for absolutely nothing.
Naturally, the payout staff didn't hand over a massive wooden chest physically packed to the brim with a thousand heavy gold coins. That would have been far too conspicuous on the streets and would practically invite every desperate criminal in the district to follow them. After carefully checking Flandre's local bank card, the official provided a certified corporate check and pointed out a major bank branch in the city where Flandre's card network was officially issued, explaining she could go there directly to deposit the massive funds.
The group had been quietly discussing where to go next anyway, and this official check gave them a perfectly clear objective. In any case, they had nothing else planned for the afternoon after watching the tournant match conclude.
Originally, Flandre's private plan had been to find a remote, quiet spot in the city specifically to beat so people up. As for where those people would logically co from, the little vampire wasn't worried about that detail in the slightest. While a thousand gold coins ant absolutely nothing to the wealth of the state, there were plenty of ordinary rcenaries, street thugs, and desperate ruffians whose eyes would instantly turn blood-red with pure envy at the sight of that check.
There was no need to brutally slaughter them all like the Ingra Family, but giving them a good, old-fashioned thrashing was perfectly fine by her standards. That had been Flandre's original intention for the afternoon entertainnt.
However, since her elder sister explicitly wanted to deposit the money into the bank first, they would obviously handle that chore first. As for whether those coveting the check would dare to make a violent move on them along the way—did anyone in their right mind truly think anyone in the Scarlet Devil Mansion group was capable of feeling fear?
"iling, iling, where do you honestly think those greedy guys will choose to strike if they're going to act?" Still playing the part of a lazy doll resting in Hong iling's arms, Flandre turned her small head and asked curiously.
"Hmm... From what I've observed of Kazimierz so far, despite all of their intense internal strife, the authorities still care deeply about maintaining a polished, civilized exterior for the tourists," Hong iling recalled the local route she had seen when the official pointed out the bank's location on the map, sharing her martial analysis. "So, they won't dare to rob us by force in heavily crowded plazas; they'll definitely choose sowhere with far fewer people."
iling tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Looking at the layout, there's a large public park situated right on our mandatory walking route, about two streets away from the bank. The surrounding area consists almost entirely of corporate office buildings with zero comrcial shopping zones, so the daily foot traffic there is at its absolute lowest. If soone wants to make a desperate move for the check, they'll likely choose that specific spot!"
After thinking the layout over, the others felt that iling's tactical deduction was highly likely the case. As the proud capital of Kazimierz and its greatest comrcial hub, Kawalerielki was packed to the gills with people in almost every sector. The isolated area outside that specific public park was one of the very few quiet zones they were legally forced to pass through on foot.
Even knowing a potential ambush awaited them, the group had absolutely no intention of taking a safer detour; instead, they began excitedly speculating about which blind, foolish mortals would co looking for trouble today.
From iling's arms, Flandre waved her little hand wildly in the air and loudly declared that those incoming people would all be her exclusive property when the ti ca, explicitly telling Remilia not to compete with her for the targets. Remilia, rembering how she had already 'stolen' quite a few of her sister's potential kills during the midnight mansion raid the previous night, didn't bother to argue with her, granting her full custody of the playground.
anwhile, the stealthy scouts trailing far behind the group quickly sent frantic encrypted ssages to their comrades upon seeing the Scarlet Devil Mansion party indeed choosing the direct route toward the quiet park. Since the vampires were traveling rely as casual tourists, they didn't use a fast carriage and traveled slowly on foot instead, giving the opposing thugs plenty of operational ti to prepare their ambush lines.
About an hour later, the group arrived leisurely at the deserted edge of the public park.
"We gave them so much free ti; how do you think their tactical preparations are going?" Hong iling asked with a wide, amused smile, looking around the suspiciously quiet paths.
"They should logically be fully ready by now, otherwise Flandre will be super disappointed!" Flandre pouted, expressing her standards. They had given those guys a full, generous hour to gather their forces; if they couldn't gather enough warm bodies to properly entertain her, she would get upset. And when she got upset, she might get genuinely angry—and if she got angry, she might accidentally forget to control her own imnse physical strength.
Soon, a wide, radiant smile spread across Flandre's face. This park area, which was supposed to be relatively empty during working hours, had quite a few suspicious 'tourists' loitering around today. A thousand gold coins might not attract any high-tier competitive knights or corporate big shots, but it certainly drew in a massive swarm of desperate small fry.
"Go ahead and have fun, just rember the rules: absolutely no killing anyone today!" Sensing that the little girl in her arms was currently acting like an unleashed Husky she could no longer physically hold back, Hong iling let go of her waist.
Flandre charged straight out into the open with a joyful, booming laugh.
"Wahahaha! The certified check is right here in my hands! Beat up, and these one thousand shining gold coins are all yours!" Flandre landed with a light thud and jumped right into the middle of the empty asphalt road, projecting her voice across the entire sector without the slightest hint of concealnt.
Hearing the little girl's blatant taunt, the rcenaries pretending to be casual pedestrians completely threw away their disguises. They charged forward from the bushes and alleyways, brandishing various iron pipes, combat knives, and heavy clubs.
Seeing the incoming wave, Flandre didn't even bother to pull out her legendary crimson demonic sword, Laevateinn; instead, she simply swung her small hands outward, and in the next instant, the terrifying, sharp aura of her Soul-Scattering Iron Claws made its grand return to the physical world.
"Ora Ora Ora!"
"Muda Muda Muda!"
Flandre shouted out an absolute chaotic assortnt of bizarre ani move nas, swinging her wild punches left and right to generously 'massage' the faces of the foolish enemies blocking her path.
Unfortunately, these stubborn thugs were determined not to comply with her kindness, choosing instead to violently use their own faces to strike Flandre's tiny, solid fists. As a direct result of this physical miscalculation, they fell to the ground in massive, continuous swathes, like fresh green grass being mowed down by a high-speed machine.
However, Flandre kept Hong iling's peaceful warning firmly in mind throughout the brawl. Her every single kinetic strike was perfectly, mathematically asured—instantly knocking the ruffians unconscious without causing any permanent brain damage or broken skulls. By the ti her tiny fra had charged completely from one end of the long street to the other, not a single enemy was left standing on the road.
"Enemy defeated! I shall now take his clothes!"
As the last standing figure in the area, Flandre crossed her small arms arrogantly over her chest, leaning her upper body back at nearly an impossible forty-five-degree angle, posing in an incredibly exaggerated, dramatic fashion toward the sky.
The Scarlet Devil Mansion group simply stood at the edge of the street, watching her theatrical antics in absolute, deadpan silence. Dealing with ordinary street thugs who couldn't even utilize basic Originium Arts and only possessed slightly above-average physical fitness was hardly a challenge for a vampire. If she weren't explicitly playing around to mimic her favorite dia, Flandre's true supernatural speed would have allowed her to finish clearing the entire street before any of them could even blink.
Seeing that Flandre had successfully finished clearing the path of all obstacles, the others strolled over unhurriedly, stepping over the neatly piled mounds of snoring rcenaries.
At that exact mont, inside the nearby corporate office buildings looming over the park, many white-collar employees were standing crowded by the glass windows, looking straight down. The sudden, chaotic events that had just unfolded on the asphalt below had been witnessed by dozens of workers, who now stood frozen by their desks in stunned, paralyzed surprise.
This street display was honestly much more exciting than the official Knight Tournant matches shown on television! After all, as an over-comrcialized exhibition sport, most participating knights in the arena wouldn't actually try to brutally harm or maim each other due to strict corporate regulations.
And while it was clear that no one had actually died in the street brawl below, that little blonde girl's tiny fists were truly, terrifyingly powerful. Even from dozens of ters up in the air, the office workers could clearly see several grown n get their front teeth violently knocked out by a single, casual blow from a child.
If this incredible display were taking place safely inside a regulated tournant arena, these bored white-collar workers would have been cheering and throwing confetti by now. But since this was an illegal, highly irregular street brawl, they could only watch in absolute, breathless silence, fearing that making too much noise at the glass would draw the terrifying little monster's gaze up toward their windows.
