"Take him alive!"

Sensing Flandre Scarlet's murderous intent, Chen Huijie, who had just reacted, shouted out. Hearing the voice, Flandre changed her punch into a grab. Her hand pierced directly through the glass, grabbing the driver's sleeve. The next second, she yanked him out along with the glass and slamd him down in front of Chen Huijie.

She then landed and stepped on the man, completely ignoring his agonizing state as his internal organs felt displaced from the fall. Her eyes glowed with a red light as she stared into his, and in the next second, the man's pupils instantly dilated. Flandre paused for a mont before withdrawing her gaze and looking at Chen Huijie.

"Ask away; he won't tell any lies now!"

Flandre Scarlet's sequence of movents was smooth and fluid. By the ti she was finished, the people nearby had only just realized a car accident had occurred. They were even more shocked when they saw the person who had intervened.

Chen Huijie felt that this thod was far too violent. However, having nearly died right after leaving the house, she was still sowhat shaken, so she couldn't afford to worry about proper procedure. She looked at the man.

"Speak. Why did you appear here, and who instructed you to do this!"

A few seconds later, the man finally spoke. "I... I received a comrcial order..."

A few minutes later, the group looked at each other in bewildernt, because according to his story, this was purely an accident. After all, the reason he had suddenly crashed was simply because he had stayed up all night playing cards. He was exhausted after driving into the city this morning and had accidentally dozed off for a mont. He didn't expect to crash the instant he closed his eyes. He wasn't acting under anyone's instructions; he was simply supposed to pick up cargo from a nearby freight yard this morning.

"You knew you had work today, yet you stayed up all night? And then you fall asleep while driving in the city? It seems you don't care about other people's lives at all!" Beatrice Swire was so angry she nearly jumped up.

Just then, sirens blared. Soone on duty nearby had happened to hear about the accident and rushed over quickly. When they saw that the vehicle hit was a police car from the departnt, the carload of officers who had just started their shift that morning received quite a jolt. After learning the cause, those officers were also furious.

"Madam Chen, you take the others back first; I'll handle things here."

The arriving officer had Chen Huijie's group get into his car, then called for backup while looking at the man who was now unconscious after being controlled by Flandre Scarlet. A quick check revealed no serious injuries, so he didn't bother calling an ambulance. Instead, he looked at the police car that had nearly been crushed flat on one side and sighed inwardly. If Flandre Scarlet had not been alert and pulled Chen Huijie and Beatrice out of the car, the two of them would have been seriously injured, if not killed.

Looking at it that way, the injuries on this guy were truly light. Furthermore, he had a premonition that once Wei Yenwu heard of this, a city-wide inspection of trucks would surely follow.

Things went exactly as he expected. Before Chen Huijie's group even reached the station, the news had already reached Wei Yenwu's ears. He was so enraged that he slamd his hand hard against the desk. He imdiately ordered the revocation of the business licenses for both the driver and the company behind him. Furthermore, he ordered a one-by-one inspection of all large vehicles entering and exiting the port. Any driver showing signs of fatigue was to have their vehicle impounded imdiately, and their company would have to retrieve them and pay an extrely heavy fine.

In Wei Yenwu's view, sotis reasoning with these ordinary people was useless. Only by fining their companies until it hurt, forcing the companies to restrain and manage their own subordinates, would there be an effective solution. And this asure was indeed very effective. It significantly improved the public security of Lungn's roads, and the number of resulting accidents decreased greatly.

On the other side, after Flandre and the others arrived at the Guard Departnt, Hoshiguma walked over as soon as the door opened.

"I heard you guys were in a car accident?"

"Ugh, don't even ntion it..." Chen Huijie recounted the events. After hearing her story, Hoshiguma was also speechless. It was fortunate that Flandre was there. Had Flandre not been present, or if it hadn't been a Guard Departnt police car specifically reinforced for collisions, the people inside would have been turned into at pies.

Even so, thinking back to the scene just now, both of them, including Beatrice, were still shaken. After getting into the car again later, Beatrice asked tremblingly if they had nearly died just then.

"Don't worry, with here, I won't let you face any danger." Flandre patted her chest. In response, the Little Tiger just held Flandre tightly in her arms; only then did she feel a slight sense of security.

She only relaxed once they entered the Guard Departnt. Seeing Beatrice finally willing to release Flandre from her embrace, Chen Huijie raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Pink Sausage Dragon, are your legs not weak anymore?"

Realizing that her unsightly state had been seen by Chen Huijie, Beatrice's face flushed red, and she said through gritted teeth, "You have a lot of nerve. Don't think I didn't see it; your legs were trembling the whole ti after Flandre brought you out of the car."

"Hey, hey, hey, don't go slandering now. How could I possibly be trembling!"

"I saw it! So what!"

"Char Siu Cat, you dare to slander in front of so many colleagues? I'll fight you!"

"Pink Sausage Dragon, who's afraid of who? You really think I haven't been training lately!"

Watching the two of them launch "cat-cat punches" at each other, Hoshiguma's face wore a simple, honest expression. "Seeing that everyone is fine, I'm relieved."

Passing through the Guard Departnt lobby, the three of them arrived at the training building in the back. Flandre Scarlet shook her head.

"I'm fine. That level of danger can't threaten . If I hadn't been distracted by those gazes from before, that large vehicle wouldn't have even had a chance to crash into us."

Then she looked over at a group of people nearby who were studying runes. As Flandre approached, she realized she didn't know the people here, but their clothing showed they were from the Celestial Masters Mansion. They wore a tal emblem consisting of three horizontal lines, but the top two lines were broken in the middle, with only the bottom line being solid.

"'Zhen' for Thunder. I heard Great Yan has a Celestial Master Bai who can summon rolling heavenly thunder with a wave of his hand. Are you gentlen related to him?"

"Miss Flandre Scarlet is indeed well-inford. We are disciples from the lineage of Celestial Master Bai. It's just that our talent isn't as good as those personal disciples... For instance, this Red Mist Engine chanism you made—the runes on it are incredibly exquisite." The leading Celestial Master bowed to Flandre.

"You don't think these are fake, do you?"

"Miss, what are you saying? You must know that while rumors can be false, the traces left behind cannot be. This skill can only be described as divine. Since we have witnessed your thods with our own eyes, how could we believe those nonsensical rumors outside?"

The man requested her to explain the principles of the rune to them. Flandre had no intention of keeping secrets. She disassembled the runes one by one and explained how she had fused the original runes into their current form. The people from the Celestial Masters Mansion each held a notebook, rapidly recording everything she said. They looked like university students following a teacher for field study.

Seeing these Celestial Masters in their twenties and thirties respectfully surrounding Flandre and listening intently, both the person in charge and Chen Huijie's group felt a sense of absurdity. Flandre stabilized the teaching difficulty at a level equivalent to the books she had read before. Technical terms, spell runes, and models were manifested by her using Red Mist, appearing before everyone and making the Celestial Masters' eyes light up with wonder.

"Ahem, gentlen, it's almost noon now. How about everyone eats and rests for a bit? Little Flandre has a class to teach this afternoon, and it will be a live broadcast for the dia, so she can't be affected."

Seeing that Flandre had no intention of stopping, Chen Huijie quickly spoke up to intervene. Hearing her words, although those Celestial Masters were sowhat reluctant, they knew that what she said was the truth.
