Outside the hospital, An Lin sneezed. “Who’s talking about ?”
Walking beside her, Bai Xiaoxiao chuckled, “Could it be so man admiring you and thinking about you?”
“How could that be.” An Lin glared at her playfully, about to say more when suddenly, Fang Zhi Wei’s voice ca from behind, “An Lin, Xiaoxiao.”
An Lin and Bai Xiaoxiao exchanged a glance and turned around.
They saw Fang Zhi Wei stepping out of a car parked by the roadside. Seeing them waiting, she quickened her steps to join them. “Did you two co here together, or was it just a coincidence?”
“An Lin called to pick her up, so we ca together,” Bai Xiaoxiao answered with a smile.
An Lin looked at the thermal lunch box in Fang Zhi Wei’s hand and jokingly asked, “Is that a love-filled lunch you’re bringing for Ah Kai?”
Fang Zhi Wei’s face softened into a gentle smile. She lowered her eyes, her gaze scanning the lunch box she held, and said, “I upset Ah Kai earlier. I’m not good at coaxing n, so I had to cook so comforting food, hoping he’ll forgive sooner.”
“Didn’t Ah Kai say he wasn’t mad at you?”
An Lin looked at Fang Zhi Wei, puzzled.
“He said that, but I can feel that he’s treating differently from before. I’m sure he still holds so grudge deep down.”
At this, Fang Zhi Wei’s smile faded, her eyes shadowed with a touch of sadness.
She had never been in a relationship and really didn’t know how to keep a man’s heart fully committed.
