Chapter 1163: 1162 Do you really want to hate for a lifeti?
Miss Bai’s arrangent, though it may delay a bit, is much better than Gu Kai forcing her to play the third wheel.
Fang Zhiwei felt that the injury on her arm wasn’t severe, but as a woman, and in front of the man she liked, she naturally hoped to receive Gu Kai’s sympathy.

Gu Kai was the first to agree to Bai Yiyi’s suggestion. He took out his cellphone and dialed a number.
Bai Yiyi held Tongtong, while Fang Zhiwei quietly watched Gu Kai, feeling an inexplicable emotion arise inside her. Initially, she thought her suggestion to take Tongtong out for so fun was a good one.
Gu Kai would surely appreciate that she gave him and Tongtong a chance to bond.

Bai Yiyi was playing with Tongtong, unconcerned with Gu Kai on the phone or Fang Zhiwei’s thoughts. She only knew she absolutely did not want to be caught between them.
If possible, she truly wished that it wasn’t Gu Kai she had encountered that night.
“An Lin said she’ll be here soon.”
Gu Kai hung up and turned to Fang Zhiwei and Bai Yiyi.
“An Lin?” Fang Zhiwei looked at Gu Kai in surprise. He was supposed to call a driver, so why did it turn out to be An Lin?
Bai Yiyi was also surprised but didn’t speak.
Gu Kai’s lips curled into a faint smile, and he casually remarked, “Yeah, I had called Mo Xiuchen, and An Lin happened to be at his house. When she heard I needed a driver, An Lin bravely volunteered herself.”
“So that’s what happened; I was wondering how An Lin ended up being your driver,” Fang Zhiwei said, suddenly understanding and smiling.
“An Lin is coming from Ranran’s house. It will take at least fifteen to twenty minutes. There’s a cafe nearby. Why don’t you wait there? I’ll take Tongtong ho to pick up so stuff.”
Standing there waiting like that, the atmosphere felt a bit awkward.
Bai Yiyi found an excuse, wanting to slip away.
“It’s too much trouble for you to carry Tongtong up and down the stairs. Let hold Tongtong while you go back and get what you forgot.”
Gu Kai took Tongtong from her and said to Fang Zhiwei, “Tongtong is too little, it’s not good to take him to places like cafes, let’s go to the nearby park instead.”
The park was right next door.
Taking a child to the park was indeed better than going to a cafe.
Bai Yiyi didn’t care where Gu Kai took Tongtong; she just wanted to leave. She turned and went into the residential area to fetch her things.
Guessing that An Lin was about to arrive, Bai Yiyi slowly ca down from the building, walked out of the residential area just as An Lin got out of her car.
After putting the things in the bag for Tongtong’s things, Bai Yiyi greeted An Lin and watched Gu Kai’s Maybach drive onto the road until it disappeared from sight before she turned to go to her own car.

Bai Yiyi indeed had an appointnt.
It was with Li En’s defense lawyer. They had agreed to visit Li En today.
After two days of not seeing him, Bai Yiyi almost didn’t recognize Li En.
He was clearly taught a lesson by soone; his handso face was bruised and swollen, and from his walking posture, it seed his legs were injured too.
His whole appearance was extrely disheveled, his purplish chin covered with stubble, and his clothes were dirty, lacking his usual handso charm.
Led out by two policen, Li En hesitated when he saw Bai Yiyi and the lawyer sitting at the table. He dragged his heavy feet, limping his way to the table and sat down.
“Mr. Li, you and Miss Bai have a chat, I’ll wait outside for you.”
The lawyer greeted them and willingly left the small cabin, leaving Li En and Bai Yiyi so privacy.
Li En lowered his eyes, and when he looked up again, his eyes were complex, “Yiyi, I didn’t expect you to still be willing to see .”
His voice was filled with contradiction. His mouth was bruised severely, and speaking caused his brows to furrow in pain.
He knew he owed Bai Yiyi an apology for what he had done to her.
Back in D Country, Bai Yiyi had said she would hate him for a lifeti and would never forgive him.
Yet, what he wanted then was so simple; he just wanted her to be with him, regardless of whether she loved or hated him.
Bai Yiyi pursed her lips, her expression cold and detached, “I didn’t want to co see you, but my mom cares about you.”
A flicker of pain swept through Li En’s eyes.
Bitterly smiling at Bai Yiyi’s words, he asked, “Yiyi, do you really intend to hate for a lifeti?”
His tone was one of agony.
To love but not be loved in return, and to be resented by the woman he loves.
Bai Yiyi pursed her lips, her voice still cold and indifferent, “Yes, I hate you. When you used Momo to threaten and forced to go to D Country, I told you, I could go with you, but I would hate you, and never forgive you.”
“Uh, I believe it. If you said so quickly that you don’t hate anymore, I would actually think you’re lying.”
Li En’s mouth curved into a self-mocking smile, “Even so, I have no regrets about my decision back then, Yiyi. We are both stubborn people, once we are committed to sothing, we see it through.”
“No, it’s because you’ve been influenced by him since you were young. Loving soone doesn’t an obtaining her by any ans necessary; to truly love soone is to see her happy.”
“Are you happy?”
Li En’s corners of the mouth carried an even thicker sarcasm, “You say I am influenced, but aren’t you influenced too? Due to your stepmother’s misfortune, you’ve dismissed all n in the world. Yiyi, if you were willing to give a chance, I wouldn’t have resorted to such extre asures.”
“You’re beyond help.” Bai Yiyi’s face showed a touch of anger as she coldly stared at Li En: “Even if I didn’t dismiss all n in the world, I would never accept your love. Do you know why?”
“You’re going to say, you only see as a brother.” Li En didn’t like this kind of answer.
Bai Yiyi lowered her eyes to her fingers resting on the table, “Exactly, I always saw you as a brother, whether you believe it or not. If there has to be another reason, it’s because you are his proudest student.”
She looked at Li En and would unconsciously rember Fu Jingyi.
Perhaps, others couldn’t understand Bai Yiyi’s hatred and the conflicting feelings towards Fu Jingyi.
