Fang Zhiwei heard those words, and her originally pale face imdiately flushed with embarrassnt.
Gu Kai’s expression changed slightly, turning his head to look towards where he was sitting earlier, only to find Bai Yiyi had gone without him knowing. With everyone around seemingly assuming he and Fang Zhiwei were still a couple, he forced a smile and said, “Let’s go.”

The two left the second-floor hall and exited Yi Pin Xuan Pavilion. The wind was picking up outside, and it looked like it was going to rain.
Gu Kai frowned and turned to ask Fang Zhiwei, “Did you drive here?”
“No, I went to the hospital today with a friend to see Uncle Chen, and that friend dropped off here. It’s fine, I’ll take a taxi back.”
Fang Zhiwei’s mood was off, and she didn’t even look at Gu Kai as she spoke, clearly distracted.
As she finished speaking, raindrops began to fall.

Gu Kai squinted, watching her lower her head and walk aimlessly towards the roadside. People were walking towards her, and she wasn’t even aware enough to avoid them. He pursed his lips and quickly stepped forward.
As Fang Zhiwei reached the roadside and was about to hail a taxi, Gu Kai’s voice ca, “I’ll take you ho.”

Bai Yiyi went to the third floor.
She didn’t go straight into the room but to the restroom to make a call to Wen Jin.
“President Wen, have you arrived?”
“Yes, we’ve arrived. When will you and Ah Kai get there?”
On the phone, Wen Jin’s voice was calm and composed. Bai Yiyi bit her lower lip and said with a slight smile, “Gu Kai got held up, but I’ll be right there.”
“Ah Kai isn’t coming?”
“Probably not.”
“President Wen, is that Miss Bai on the phone? When will she arrive?” Qian Songnan’s voice ca from the phone. Bai Yiyi frowned as Wen Jin’s voice followed, “Yiyi, if you’re busy, go ahead and take care of it. With General Qian and CEO Zhang here, I’m present. I’ll give Mo Xiuchen a call later since he’s free.”
Because Gu Kai said he was coming.
Wen Jin brought only one marketing manager.
Two of them were now sitting in the room with Qian Songnan, CEO Zhang, and their two assistants, six people in total.
Gu Kai was held up and couldn’t make it, and Wen Jin didn’t want Bai Yiyi to co alone.
Being a renowned figure in G City, asking Mo Xiuchen to join Qian Songnan for dinner was unquestionably giving him a lot of respect.
Hearing Wen Jin say this, Bai Yiyi agreed and didn’t insist on going to the room. She hung up the phone and went back down to the second floor, to find that Gu Kai and Fang Zhiwei had already left.

Gu Kai’s eyes changed. Why did he start dating Fang Zhiwei in the first place?

Did she know what she was saying? To not bother with her and to just watch her get bullied by that scumbag?

When Mo Xiuchen received a call from Wen Jin, he had just arrived ho.
He usually didn’t work overti or socialize much. Today, as there was so unfinished work, he stayed at the office a bit longer.
As he stepped inside, Wen Ran took his briefcase, placed his shoes in front of him, and Mo Xiuchen pulled her into his embrace, stealing a kiss on her cheek, and asked with a smile, “What about the three little guys?”
“They are going wild on the third floor. I ca down when I heard the car.”
Wen Ran looked at Mo Xiuchen cheerfully as the phone rang. Mo Xiuchen bent down to take out his phone, and Wen Ran pushed him down onto the stool to change shoes, squatting down to help him.
“Ranran, I can change my shoes myself.”
Mo Xiuchen’s large hand clasped Wen Ran’s wrist, his deep eyes filled with smiling intimation and profound affection.
“You answer the call, and I’ll serve you. I’ll make sure you’re satisfied,” Wen Ran playfully winked at him, lowered her head, took off his leather shoes, and replaced them with slippers.
