“I’m childish? What does that have to do with you?”
Bai Yiyi couldn’t bear Gu Kai’s sarcastic tone and imdiately beca annoyed again.
Gu Kai raised an eyebrow, “Of course it’s my business, your childish ignorance might rub off on Tongtong and make her just like you.”
Bai Yiyi rolled her eyes and stood up, “I’m going to sleep, rember to close the door when you leave.”

She walked away from the couch, and behind her, Gu Kai, seemingly on impulse, called her back again.
Bai Yiyi turned around, looking at Gu Kai who had risen to his feet, and asked in surprise, “What is it?”
Gu Kai hesitated for a mont and pursed his lips, “Never mind, it’s nothing. I’ll leave now, you close the door yourself.”
After saying that, he strode past the couch toward the entrance.
“Crazy.”
Bai Yiyi muttered softly, following behind him.
Gu Kai was about to leave the living room but suddenly turned his head to look at Bai Yiyi who stood by the door, ready to close it, “Is Tongtong asleep?”
“Sleeping.”
Bai Yiyi frowned, not understanding what was wrong with Gu Kai.
Gu Kai pursed his lips again and coldly asked, “Do you like Ah Jin?”
Bai Yiyi’s face changed, and she closed the door abruptly in answer to his question, with Gu Kai barely dodging and almost making dangerously close contact with the door.
“Bai Yiyi, such a barbaric woman.”
Gu Kai stared at the door in front of him, grinding his teeth angrily.

I don’t know what Gu Kai said to Qian Songnan, or what kind of reassurance he gave him, but the next day, while Bai Yiyi was in Wen Jin’s office waiting for his signature, she received a call from Qian Songnan.
He said over the phone, “Miss Bai, are you free tonight? I’d like to invite you to dinner to express my gratitude.”
Bai Yiyi furrowed her brows and replied coldly, “I’m busy.”
“Miss Bai, are you angry? I had no choice, now that Doctor Gu has agreed to operate on my son, I won’t bother you anymore. About that matter, I won’t tell anyone else, you can rest assured.”
Bai Yiyi’s expression slightly cold, holding back her anger, she replied coldly, “I’ve told you before, Gu Kai is a doctor, he will do his best to treat patients, this isn’t helping you, you don’t need to thank . As for what you did, don’t involve , I’m busy, goodbye.”
“Yiyi, what happened?”
After hanging up, Bai Yiyi saw that Wen Jin had finished signing, and he looked at her concernedly.
She pursed her lips and said lightly, “It was Qian Songnan.”
“Qian Songnan, what does he want with you, don’t tell he hasn’t given up?” Wen Jin frowned slightly, looking puzzled at Bai Yiyi.

Bai Yiyi pursed her lips stubbornly.

Taking the docunt, Bai Yiyi suddenly frowned uncomfortably, holding her abdon lightly. Seeing this, Wen Jin asked with concern, “What’s wrong, are you feeling unwell?”

Returning to her office, Bai Yiyi quickly took out the sanitary products she prepared in the morning from her bag and went to the restroom.
After work in the afternoon, Bai Yiyi’s first priority was to rush to the shopping mall.

“Yiyi, are you shopping alone?”

Bai Yiyi responded with a faint smile, “Yes, Sister Wei, are you also here to buy things?”

Fang Zhiwei asked with a smile as her gaze swept over her shopping cart.

Bai Yiyi didn’t particularly like the overly friendly and warm smile on Fang Zhiwei’s face. If it weren’t for that incident, she didn’t dislike Fang Zhiwei before.

Yet, when Fang Zhiwei was warned by soone, and claid it was her instigation, she couldn’t help but care.
“Yiyi, let’s go together, I’m also done. I have so things I want to talk to you about.”
Fang Zhiwei pushed her cart, joining Bai Yiyi at the checkout.
Taking the elevator down to the first floor, Fang Zhiwei suggested sitting in a café for a while, and although Bai Yiyi wanted to refuse, hearing that Fang Zhiwei had sothing to tell her, Bai Yiyi agreed to go with her.
“Yiyi, I need to apologize to you, I’m sorry, I misunderstood you that day.”
After the waiter brought their coffee, Fang Zhiwei sincerely apologized to Bai Yiyi who paused for a mont before she could even respond. Fang Zhiwei continued saying, “Yiyi, I had so misunderstandings about you because when I asked you the other day if you liked Ah Kai, you said it was impossible between you two, but two days later, you two were seen together, and I felt uncomfortable.”
Bai Yiyi didn’t speak, her hand gently touching the glass.

Bai Yiyi managed a strained smile, “A misunderstanding cleared up is good.”

Fang Zhiwei took a sip of coffee, and while Bai Yiyi hesitated, planning to leave, a clear voice called from nearby:
“Teacher Fang.”
This voice, when heard by Bai Yiyi, sounded sowhat familiar. She looked up to see a young girl approaching them.
