Chapter 1284: 1283 entered the ergency room
The call connected, and Wen Jin’s voice ca through the airwaves, low and somber, “Hello, Yiyi.”
Bai Yiyi slowed her pace, and seeing this, Zhang Siming pointed to the roadside, indicating that she should wait by the roadside while he went to get the car.
“President Wen, where are you now?”
“I’m on my way to People’s Hospital. I just received a call saying that the condition of those three patients has changed. Have you arrived in G City yet?”
Wen Jin’s voice was still relatively calm, without too much emotion.
Bai Yiyi walked towards the roadside, answering, “We’ve arrived in G City. I just t Zhang Siming, and he told about the situation. I’m also on my way to People’s Hospital. I just wanted to call and ask if you were aware of the situation.”

“Alright.” Bai Yiyi responded, asking no further questions, hung up the phone, and without another thought, dialed Gu Kai’s number.
As for the issue with their pharmaceuticals, it was still a minor problem yesterday, not serious at all. But after just one night, those three patients with issues were again undergoing ergency treatnt.
This change in the situation made Bai Yiyi panic.
Even though her relationship with Gu Kai was sowhat tense now, at this mont, the first thing she thought of was to inform Gu Kai.
After two rings, Gu Kai’s voice ca through, carrying a chill that didn’t match the day’s weather, “Hello!”
Bai Yiyi detected the iciness in his tone, disregarded the emotion, and said calmly, “Zhang Siming just told that the patient has been taken to the ergency room. Do you want to rush to People’s Hospital to see?”
“When did this happen?”
Gu Kai’s voice imdiately beca serious.
“They entered the ergency room just about ten minutes ago. President Wen is on his way to the hospital now. I just asked Zhang Siming, and he said that because of the relationship between the Gu Family and Wen Jin, and the joint developnt of a new drug, those three patients can not be transferred to Kangning Hospital…”
“I understand. You go back and take care of Tongtong; I’ll head there now.”
Gu Kai’s tone was not one of discussion but of command, an imperious tone that brooked no doubt.
Bai Yiyi instinctively wanted to refuse, but Gu Kai coolly added, “I’ll call Mo Xiuchen to go as well; with four kids to look after, Ranran can’t manage alone. You, as a mother, should stop letting her help take care of Tongtong.”
“Okay, I’ll go back.”
Zhang Siming’s car pulled up in front of her, Bai Yiyi hung up the phone, stepped forward, stood outside the car window, and said to him, “You go to the hospital. Tongtong is crying and looking for ; I need to go ho to take care of her now.”
“I’ll take you ho.”
A hint of doubt flashed in Zhang Siming’s eyes, then he got out of the car, walked around the vehicle, and ca to open the car door for her.
“No need, I’ll take a taxi ho. I’m not too at ease with the situation at the hospital, although President Wen is on his way, but you know, with things like this… I hope you can tell as soon as there’s any news.”
After hearing Bai Yiyi’s words, Zhang Siming had no choice but to give up on the idea of taking her ho and promised, “Yiyi, don’t worry, I’ll inform you as soon as there’s any news.”

As soon as Wen Jin arrived at People’s Hospital, he was surrounded by reporters.
A barrage of sharp questions shot at him like arrows piercing the air.
Together with the reporters, there were also the family mbers of the patients. Compared to the reporters’ sharp questions, a group of patients’ relatives cursed even more viciously, and so wanted to rush forward and hit him.
“You heartless businessn, if anything happens to my wife, I swear I’ll make you pay with your life…”
“Hit him, the unscrupulous businessman whose conscience has been eaten by dogs.”
Wen Jin, accompanied by four bodyguards, stood protected in the middle, and although the patients’ families couldn’t reach him, the cursing grew louder. Wen Jin’s face darkened and his eyes were icy cold.
“I will certainly explain this matter to everyone. Now, please make so room.”
He raised his voice, speaking slowly and deliberately, firm and authoritative.
Shielded by the bodyguards, Wen Jin bypassed the reporters and patients’ relatives and entered the hospital, took the elevator, and went straight to the intensive care unit floor.
When the elevator doors opened, Gu Yan and the director of the People’s Hospital were standing in the front resting area.
Seeing him, Gu Yan imdiately waved over to him.
Wen Jin approached, exchanged brief greetings, and without waiting to be asked, Gu Yan told him the most detailed situation.

Mo Xiuchen had just arrived at his ho’s entrance when he received a phone call from Gu Kai.
Seeing his serious expression, Wen Ran felt a pang of anxiety in her heart, intuitively sensing that it had sothing to do with the dicine.
“Ranran, I need to go to the hospital now. You take the kids and go inside first.”
After Mo Xiuchen finished the call, his brow was serenely furrowed, and his voice deep and llow, revealing no other emotions.
Wen Ran stared at him and asked with concern, “Is it the issue with the dicine? Have the three patients’ conditions worsened?”
“Yes, those three patients have been taken to the ergency room. Ranran, don’t worry. It definitely isn’t a problem with the Wen Family’s dicinal products. Ah Kai and Ah Jin are already heading to the hospital, and surely dad is there as well,” Mo Xiuchen replied with a faint smile, trying not to convey any tension or fear to Wen Ran.
Wen Ran nodded, “I’ll take them inside first. You should hurry over, and rember to call if there’s any update. Besides, with a situation like this, the patients’ families must be agitated, and so are the reporters. I’m worried about my brother…”
“I know. Don’t worry.”
Outside, An Lin had already co over to open the car door, calling to Wen Ran from below, “Ranran, stop dallying around. Hurry out of the car.”
Wen Ran let An Lin carry the children out of the car and followed suit, “Go on, hurry.”
“I’ll give you a call later,” Mo Xiuchen promised with a reassuring smile, then pulled out his phone to dial Qin Mu’s number.
In the end, the only ones who entered the house were An Lin, Wen Ran, and their four little treasures.
After a long car ride during which all four little ones had fallen asleep, they were now full of energy upon getting out of the car.
Today the weather was good, sunny and with flowers exuding their fragrance in the garden. The several little ones saw Little Liu in the garden and headed straight for it.
An Lin, unaware of the changed circumstances, saw Wen Ran in a daze, lost in thought, and didn’t even stop the four little ones from running towards the garden. She called out in concern, “Ranran, what are you thinking about?”
Wen Ran snapped back to reality and, seeing the four little ones nearly at the garden, raised her voice and called out, “Slow down, don’t trip and fall!”
“Ranran, you just noticed now?”
Wen Ran replied, “Just now, my brother was on the phone with Xiuchen. He said the condition of the three patients worsened; they’ve been taken to the ICU. An Lin, I’m worried, I want to go check it out too.”
Her words took An Lin by surprise, “Is it that serious?”
“Yeah, I don’t believe there is a problem with our dicine. There must be a reason for this. But the most important thing right now is the patients.”
