Bai Yiyi’s eyes flickered with hesitation, her grip on her cellphone tightening slightly.
She pursed her lips, “I’ve agreed to date Gu Kai.”

Bai Yuqin asked several questions in a row, unable to contain her excitent.

Previously, she felt nothing around Gu Kai, but now that their relationship had just changed, Bai Yiyi was a little nervous.
Gu Kai pulled her to sit in front of the sofa, poured her a glass of water, and settled his tall fra beside her. His eyes locked onto hers with a gentle light, and he softly uttered, “Yiyi.”

Gu Kai looked at her nervous self and suddenly laughed, a laugh both elegant and captivating, “Bai Yiyi, you don’t have to look like you’re about to face execution.”
“You’re the one facing execution.”
With Gu Kai’s remark, the subtle awkwardness and flirtation in the atmosphere seed to dissipate instantly.
Bai Yiyi, accustod to arguing with him, was like a hedgehog being touched, instantly raising all her quills in retort.
“Haha!”
Gu Kai laughed out loud, his long arm suddenly reaching over and resting on Bai Yiyi’s shoulder.
Along with his arm, his body and that devastatingly handso face were drawing closer to her.
Bai Yiyi’s body tensed, and she looked at him warily, “What are you doing?”
“I’m not doing anything, just trying to scare you a bit,” said Gu Kai with a mischievous smile, the warm breath of his male scent spreading on her ear.
Bai Yiyi’s heartbeat beca uncontrollably frantic.
She frowned, leaning her body to one side to distance herself from him, not letting his breath disturb her thoughts, “Are you a ghost or sothing, scaring people for no reason? I’m going to take a shower and sleep, so you’d better go back.”
“Bai Yiyi, this is my ho too.”
Gu Kai showed no sign of wanting to leave. He hooked a strand of her hair with his long finger, thoughtlessly twirling it around his fingertip, and said nonchalantly, “You promised to date . We’re now boyfriend and girlfriend, you should be a bit more romantic and not always rush to go ho.”
“What romance? I’m not that kind of easy woman. I won’t just sleep with you casually. If you have any ideas, you better drop them right now.”
His breath had thrown Bai Yiyi’s thoughts into disarray, and her originally fair cheeks flushed red, just like when he had kissed her downstairs earlier—three parts shy, two parts faintly angry.
Gu Kai watched, his own heart rippling slightly, his eyes deepening.
The curve of his lips widened by a degree, “Bai Yiyi, you speak as if I’m such a casual man. Don’t forget that my first ti was with you. Apart from you, I haven’t slept with any other woman.”
The heat on Bai Yiyi’s face intensified.
Irritated and embarrassed, she shrugged off Gu Kai’s arm which was resting on her shoulder and playing with her hair. She suddenly stood up, pulled him up from the sofa, and pushed him towards the door, “You’d better go back, stop spouting nonsense at my place.”
Discussing sothing as improper as sleeping together with a man late at night is absolutely inappropriate.
Moreover, this man had just agreed to enter into a relationship with her. Bai Yiyi felt that if they were considered boyfriend and girlfriend, there was no couple more laughable than them.
Gu Kai was pushed to the door; just before leaving, he repeated seriously, “Bai Yiyi, I ant what I said. Why are you pushing ? Don’t worry, I wasn’t planning on sleeping with you tonight. I’ve just decided to move in, so I can live with you all.”
“No way.”
Upon hearing Gu Kai’s words, Bai Yiyi forgot to push him out the door and her action stopped in surprise.
Gu Kai turned around, a smile gracing his lips as he looked at her annoyed face, “Why not? You’re my girlfriend now, and Tongtong is my daughter. Aunt Bai is not here, so it’s perfectly normal for to move in to take care of you both. I’ve already said that it’s not to sleep with you. Why don’t you believe ?”
“That’s not the reason.”
Bai Yiyi glared at him, bed, bed, bed—this man was really sothing.
“Then what’s the reason?”
Gu Kai’s gaze was piercing as he leaned against the door fra, his tall figure suggesting that he wouldn’t leave without a satisfactory reason from her.

Bai Yiyi lowered her gaze then lifted her face again, her clear and tranquil eyes bravely eting his, “Gu Kai, although I agreed to date you, I’m actually not ready. Can you give so ti? Let’s interact like before, okay?”
Gu Kai let out a soft sigh, “Alright, I’ll go back.”
