The originally planned Doctor Gu to return to work at the hospital ended up solely attending to his girlfriend.

Gu Kai fixated on her blushing cheeks, even the roots of her pale ears had turned red. His lips curled into a smile, and after tidying her up, he leaned down to give her a quick peck on the face before leaving the break room.
Listening to the sound of the office door closing outside, Bai Yiyi took a deep breath, trying to calm her chaotic heartbeat.
Once her emotions were settled, she walked out of the break room.
The white coat on the hanger had already been taken; what was left was Gu Kai’s jacket.
Although it was just a coat hanging there, Bai Yiyi felt an inexplicable softness in her heart when she glanced at it. Rembering what he did to her in the break room earlier, her face heated up once again.

Suddenly, a loud ringtone echoed through the quiet office, disrupting her wandering thoughts, pulling her back to reality, and Bai Yiyi quickly pulled out her phone to check.
The call was from Wen Ran.
Bai Yiyi’s eyes flickered as she answered the call after a few seconds, “Hello, Ranran.”
“Yiyi, why did it take you so long to answer the phone?”
Wen Ran’s slightly complaining voice mixed with a faint smile ca through, and a smile appeared on Bai Yiyi’s face as well, her gentle voice flowing out, “It wasn’t long, Ranran. Aren’t you coming back tomorrow?”
“Yes, I’ll be back tomorrow. How about you? How are things going with my brother these past two days?”
Even while on holiday, she didn’t forget to check on their relationship’s progress; Wen Ran felt that being a sister was truly a challenge.
“What progress? Why don’t you ask your brother?” Bai Yiyi was determined not to tell Wen Ran that she had just been in bed with her brother. Would that count as a good relationship?
Hearing her words, Wen Ran giggled on the other end of the phone, teasingly saying, “If I called my brother, I wouldn’t ask him how your relationship is, but tell him to hurry up and make you my sister-in-law. Yiyi, you and my brother are both adults; let tell you a way to rapidly advance your relationship.”

“Don’t try to get it out of . What are you using to swap secrets?” Bai Yiyi walked over to the sofa and sat down, lazily leaning back into it.
“Ah, it’s simple. I just did it with Xiuchen earlier, and what were you doing this afternoon? I heard you went into the hospital hand in hand with my brother, so don’t try to brush off.”
Bai Yiyi’s mouth twitched.
It seems Wen Ran had gotten wind of sothing and called her up.
“How did you know I went to the hospital?” Bai Yiyi used ‘went’ instead of ‘ca,’ subtly altering the aning.
“Didn’t I tell you last ti, I have clairvoyance. Yiyi, don’t change the subject, quickly tell what you were doing holding hands with my brother at the hospital.”
“Seeing a doctor.”
Bai Yiyi said as if it was no big deal.

The door to the office opened, and Gu Kai in his white coat ca in from outside. Bai Yiyi smiled and said, “Ranran, I have sothing to do, so I’m hanging up now.”
“Is that Ranran on the phone?”
Before she could hang up, Gu Kai raised his handso brow playfully and spoke in a cheerful tone.

“Ranran wants to talk to you.”
Gu Kai blinked innocently, “Yiyi, why are you glaring at ?”
