Capítulo 1482: At least I like being with you.
An Lin paused in her steps, turned her head, and looked at Qin Mu with cold eyes. She stopped on his handso face for two seconds, then turned around and continued walking forward.
Qin Mu’s eyes flickered as he thoughtfully raised his hand to touch his chin.
Once in the car, An Lin was still angry.
Qin Mu knew that explaining was useless, so he didn’t try to explain. As the car hit the road, he said casually, “I went upstairs just now. I saw you put the rose tea in the vase and placed it in the bedroom. It slls nice.”
An Lin slightly turned her body to look out the car window. Hearing Qin Mu’s words, she just rolled her eyes coldly and remained silent.
“The shop assistant at the flower store said that yellow roses represent an apology, you know that, right?”
Qin Mu pretended to ask unknowingly, knowing full well An Lin wouldn’t respond to him, yet he felt no lack of amusent.
“If apologies were useful, what are the police for?” An Lin responded, but her words made Qin Mu chuckle awkwardly, leaving him montarily speechless.
An Lin frowned, feeling frustrated with Qin Mu being like this.
After a silent mont, she calmly asked, “Ah Mu, we’ve been married for a few months now, do you like at all?”
“…”
Qin Mu didn’t know if he hadn’t co to his senses, didn’t know how to answer, or simply couldn’t give her the answer she wanted, resulting only in silence.
An Lin laughed at herself, “You see, you don’t really like , you’re just staying with out of responsibility from back then. That night, you were so angry because of that recording. I don’t like you anymore either. Ending our marriage would be good for both of us.”
Hearing this, Qin Mu’s handso face suddenly darkened, and his grip on the steering wheel tightened abruptly, “An Lin, except for this, I can agree to any other condition.”
“Other conditions, like living separately for a lifeti?” The anger in An Lin’s heart flared up again.
She just couldn’t understand it. He clearly didn’t like her, so why was he so adamantly against divorce? Was that damn responsibility really that important?
“Even living separately for a lifeti is better than divorce.”
Admittedly, Qin Mu’s stubbornness could be terrifying.
Seeing her so furious, he added, “Don’t even think about letting our parents know. Even if they do find out, I still won’t divorce you.”
“You’re crazy.”
An Lin was so angry she wanted to strangle Qin Mu.
Qin Mu didn’t refute, pressing his lips together before he slowly spoke, “That question earlier, I don’t want to lie to you. The concept of ‘like’ is too broad, at least, I like doing things that couples do and I like your body.”

An Lin’s face turned crimson, not knowing if it was due to embarrassnt or annoyance.
Seeing her flushed face, a subtle gleam flashed in Qin Mu’s deep eyes, “An Lin, I won’t force you to forgive right now. You have the right to be angry with . However, a woman ages quickly when she’s angry. If you age quickly because of …”
“Shut up, you’re the one who’s old.”
An Lin felt like she was going to explode with rage.
What kind of person was this, saying things like that after making a mistake, asking for forgiveness? Was that the right attitude?
Her brain must have been waterlogged to still be in love with him after he hurt her like that.
Qin Mu blinked innocently and obediently shut his mouth.
The car was silent for the rest of the ride.
Calculating the ti, Qin Mu drove at a steady pace and arrived at the airport just on ti.
Mom An ca out from security check and imdiately spotted the outstanding figures of Qin Mu and An Lin in the crowd. The two of them, a handso man and a beautiful woman with outstanding temperant, stood out in the crowd.
“Mom, why didn’t you call before getting on the plane?” An Lin walked up to Mom An holding her arm, while Qin Mu carried the suitcase, walking beside An Lin.
The three of them were talking as they walked toward the airport exit.
Hearing An Lin’s words, Mom An looked up at Qin Mu.
Qin Mu appeared composed and serene, with a slight smile, unhurriedly responding, “I wanted to surprise An Lin, so I didn’t tell her.”
After speaking, he lowered his eyes to look at An Lin, with a trace of gentleness in his gaze that Mom An saw as a man’s affection for a woman.
“You’re not working right now, so you can accompany our mom around G City.”
“Mom, how about I accompany you on a trip abroad, and we can return after traveling for a few months.” An Lin proposed with a smile, deliberately ignoring Qin Mu’s explanation.
Mom An gave her a stern look, clearly uninterested, “Compared to traveling abroad, I prefer holding a grandchild. Linlin, Ah Mu, I’ve co to G City on an important mission this ti.”
“An important mission, Mom, haven’t you retired? What important mission do you have? Don’t always use official jargon; you’ll scare .” An Lin exaggeratedly pretended to be scared.
Qin Mu looked at Mom An, puzzled, “Mom, what mission?”
“I’ll tell you once we’re in the car.”
Mom An’s tone was mysterious, obviously trying to pique curiosity.
It wasn’t until they got in the car, buckled their seatbelts, that Mom An looked at Qin Mu and An Lin and seriously said, “Ah Mu, Linlin, the important mission I ntioned earlier is to carry my grandchild back ho.”
“Mom!”
An Lin’s mouth twitched as she blurted out.
She and Qin Mu hadn’t had any marital life for a long ti, at least she felt it had been a long ti, so how could Mom hold a grandchild?
Where would she go to get a grandchild for Mom, steal one?
“Don’t shout.” Mom An’s expression sank, exuding authority, “Ah Mu, it’s not just Linlin’s father and I who wish for it, your parents wish for it too, so I’m here as a representative. I’ll leave when you have a child.”
Qin Mu’s eyes flickered, glancing at An Lin and smiling, “Mom, even without any important mission, you’re welco to stay as long as you like. An Lin and I are both eager to have you.”
“Don’t change the subject.”
Mom An was determined to get an answer today.
Qin Mu smiled, “Mom, I have no objection. An Lin and I will work hard.”
“Right, An Lin?”
When he said the last part, his dark eyes looked at An Lin, with warmth and a hint of expectation.
For so reason, eting his gaze made An Lin’s heart skip a beat.
Then, it began beating rapidly.
She silently scolded herself for being infatuated. It wasn’t the first ti she’d seen this man, and she’d been enchanted by him for over twenty years without developing immunity.
“Linlin?”
Mom An frowned, looking at An Lin seriously.
An Lin irritably brushed the hair off her forehead and replied unwillingly, “Yes, yes, we’ll do our best. Mom, just settle down and stay as long as you like, I have no objections.”
“I don’t want to stay too long. If I can go ho with a grandchild after a year or half a year, I wouldn’t stay here to annoy you.”
After speaking, Mom An gave An Lin another look as if to say: Have a grandchild for to play with now, and I’ll go back to A City right away!
