“An Lin, do you know that Tang Yang went to City C?”

An Lin was taken aback, shook her head blankly, “Mom, Tang Yang went to City C? Didn’t he return to A City?”
Yesterday, Tang Yang had co to G City to see Qin Mu. He only stayed at the hospital for two hours before saying he had a task and needed to rush back.

Seeing that An Lin didn’t appear to be lying, Mother Qin couldn’t help but frown a little.

“An Lin, it’s okay to say that now, but don’t say it in front of your Aunt Tang.”
Mother Qin interrupted as soon as An Lin spoke.
Her tone beca more serious.
It was clear Mother Qin seed to take this matter very seriously.
An Lin forced a smile, “Mom, of course, I won’t say it in front of Aunt Tang. However, Tang Yang went to City C of his own accord. It wouldn’t be my cousin who was clinging to him.”
“Your Aunt Tang was so upset about this that she was hospitalized. She called this afternoon, asking you to advise your cousin not to bother with Tang Yang.”
“They’re friends.”
An Lin’s brows furrowed slightly, her voice a notch softer.
Secretly, she actually hoped her cousin and Tang Yang would be together. Tang Yang was a man worth committing a lifeti to.
Despite her cousin’s past mistakes and bad marriage, she was still her cousin.
“An Lin, you know your Aunt Tang’s temperant. She would never agree to Feng Wanfeng and Tang Yang being together. If you can, persuade Feng Wanfeng not to get entangled with Tang Yang. If you can’t, stay out of their matters entirely.”
“And don’t let Ah Mu get involved either.”
Mother Qin emphasized the last sentence.
She didn’t want to see a day when Feng Wanfeng and Tang Yang got together, only to have Mother Tang vent her anger on Ah Mu and An Lin.
An Lin thought for a mont, then said softly, “Mom, I’ll call my cousin and ask her about it.”
“Alright, don’t bla for ddling. I’m doing this for you and Ah Mu. Especially since you’re pregnant now, don’t get involved in their matters. If your Aunt Tang gets angry and blas you, that won’t be good.”
“I understand.”
An Lin forced a smile.
“By the way, when we return to the hospital later, I’ll accompany you for a prenatal check-up. It was decided that day that as soon as Ah Mu woke up, we would do it. But then it was postponed until now.”
Qin Mu glanced over at An Lin’s belly, smiling gently.
She was eager to know if her precious grandchild was healthy, and even more curious to find out if An Lin was carrying a grandson or granddaughter.
The Qin Family had a tradition of single male heirs for three generations, so even though Mother Qin was a woman herself, she hoped for a chubby grandson first. A granddaughter could co later as the second child.
“Mom, it’s really late today. How about tomorrow?”
“It’s not late at all. While delivering the soup earlier, I happened to et Director Gu when he ca out. I ntioned it to him, and he’s already inford the head of obstetrics. We can go over anyti.”
Mother Qin’s eyes brimd with joy. An Lin had been pregnant for months, yet she hadn’t seen the baby in person.
Just as An Lin was about to speak, her phone rang.
She apologized to Mother Qin, “Mom, let take this call first.”
She took out her phone, and upon seeing the caller ID, her brow furrowed slightly.
Mother Qin caught a glimpse of the incoming call on her phone screen, smiled warmly at her, and turned to look out the window.
An Lin pressed her lips together, hit the answer key, “Hello, cousin.”
“An Lin, am I interrupting your alone ti with Ah Mu?” teased Feng Wanfeng on the other end. An Lin laughed and defended herself, “Ah Mu is injured. How could we have alone ti? At this hour, aren’t you supposed to be picking up Jinchen from school? How do you have ti to call ?”
“Linlin, I wanted to discuss sothing with you, cousin.”
“What is it?”
An Lin’s curiosity was piqued as she glanced at Mother Qin beside her. Noticing her looking out the car window, she leaned against the car door lazily and asked.
