“How are things over there?”

Li Shi Yao pointed to the sofa, signaling her to go and sit down.

ng’s mother gave her a gentle smile, set down the seasoning spoon, and took the phone.
Whatever ng Ke said on the phone made ng’s mother beam at Bai Xiaoxiao before responding, “Yes, Xiaoxiao is at our house today. Handle your business over there worry-free and take care of yourself. Don’t worry about Xiaoxiao, I won’t mistreat my future daughter-in-law.”
Bai Xiaoxiao could only smile, not knowing what expression to put on.
“Xiaoxiao, you go chat with ng Ke. I’ll finish cooking the dishes here.”
