Bai Xiaoxiao stared at him for a few seconds, then lowered her gaze briefly. When she looked up at ng Ke again, her expression was slightly cold.
"Xiaoxiao."
ng Ke called her softly.
Bai Xiaoxiao ignored him, as Li Shi Yao’s cheerful voice ca from the phone.
"Sister Xiaoxiao, are you back from your business trip?"
"Yes, I ca back this morning."
Bai Xiaoxiao gently pressed the speaker button.
"Sister Xiaoxiao, if you don’t co back soon, my cousin will be snatched away by a vixen."
Beside her, ng Ke heard Li Shi Yao’s unfiltered words and his face instantly darkened.
Bai Xiaoxiao chuckled twice, "Shi Yao, if you keep saying that, your cousin is going to get angry."
"Ah!"
On the other end of the phone, Li Shi Yao’s voice suddenly changed.
She probably covered her mouth with her hand, "Sister Xiaoxiao, did my cousin hear ?"
"Yes."

At the end, Li Shi Yao laughed mischievously at the other end of the phone.

Bai Xiaoxiao didn’t want to argue with ng Ke.
Previously, she hadn’t felt that ng Ke would defend Xu Wanqi so much.

Bai Xiaoxiao pursed her lips but didn’t say anything.
Waiting for him to continue.
"Xiaoxiao, I need to go to the hospital. Do you want to co with , or should I take you ho first? Yao Yao’s classes are fewer this afternoon; she’s already at ho."
"I’ll go to the hospital with you."
Bai Xiaoxiao hesitated for two seconds before making a decision.
Xu Wanqi really knew how to create trouble.
ng Ke had only left the hospital for an afternoon, and she managed to burn her hand.

Maybe ng Ke would be happier with Xu Wanqi than with her.
ng Ke turned at the intersection, heading for Kangning Hospital.
When they reached the hospital, Bai Xiaoxiao deliberately slowed her pace, saying to ng Ke, "You go up first. I need to use the restroom; I’ll be there soon."

ng Ke replied warmly and took the elevator upstairs.
