Xu Wanqi spoke with certainty, for she knew ng Ke, but she couldn’t comprehend what in Bai Xiaoxiao he liked so much.
Was it love so deep it ate at his being, or was it the madness of an unattainable desire?
“Thanks for the warning.”
Bai Xiaoxiao frowned, lifted her gaze to Xu Wanqi, eyes cool and detached.
Xu Wanqi snorted coldly, “I don’t care about you; I’m warning you. Even if you end up by ng Ke’s side one day, you can’t be with him.”
Bai Xiaoxiao suddenly laughed.
Yet the laughter didn’t reach her eyes.
She thought Xu Wanqi was pitiful; love itself wasn’t wrong, but Xu Wanqi loved to the point of losing sense.
She had fallen to such a state and yet remained oblivious; it was truly sad.
“I’ve said before, I’m not interested in ng Ke. If you’re afraid I’ll see him, you’d better inform the police on how to capture him.”
