In the evening, Zhang Minghui returned ho, and Jing Xiaocha noticed new injuries on his body again.
Zhang Minghui didn’t ntion it, and neither did she ask.
“Auntie, I’ll go do my howork first.”
After dinner, Zhang Minghui didn’t wait for Jing Xiaocha’s instructions and went to the desk on the balcony to do his howork.

The reason he chose a cafe near Jing Xiaocha’s house was partly to hope she would co alone today, without Wen Jin.
Jing Xiaocha didn’t tell Wen Jin.
Today is Monday; Wen Jin is busy, so she didn’t call him.
As soon as she entered the cafe, she saw Jin Zheyu sitting in the sa place as last ti, with few people around in the morning.
Soft and gentle music played in the lobby, and a faint scent of coffee wafted through the air.
Jin Zheyu stood up, politely inviting Jing Xiaocha to sit.
Once she sat down, he called the waiter and ordered her a cup of coffee.
“Xiaocha, this is the contract. Have a look, and let know if you have any comnts. I’ve already carefully reviewed it, and there are no harsh terms.”
Jin Zheyu explained gently, implying that he tried his best to secure maximum benefits for Jing Xiaocha.
“Let take a look.”
Jing Xiaocha took the contract and began to read it diligently.

Indeed, she didn’t bla him, not because of different positions.

Jin Zheyu froze slightly, then explained, “Xiaocha, I said I’d make it right for you, but eventually, due to various reasons, I advised you to settle privately. No matter if you bla or not, I feel very selfish.”
Jing Xiaocha continued reading the contract, not comnting on his self-reproach.
“Xiaocha, can I ask you a question?”
“What is it?”
Jing Xiaocha didn’t look up, responding casually.
Jin Zheyu hesitated for two seconds, then cautiously asked, “Are you dating Wen Jin?”
“Why do you think so?”
Jing Xiaocha looked up at Jin Zheyu.
Jin Zheyu smiled to cover up, “I see Wen Jin treating you well. He held your hand that day.”
His words made Jing Xiaocha’s eyes change slightly. Brother Wen did hold her hand that day, but it didn’t an anything else.
He was just holding her to leave.
Although Jing Xiaocha felt ripples because of Wen Jin’s action, she dared not overthink.
She knew better than anyone that Brother Wen harbored feelings for Sister Wen deep inside.
She often thought that Brother Wen must be feeling sad.
Loving soone he shouldn’t, not daring to express it in the slightest. If he hadn’t gotten drunk that night, Jing Xiaocha wouldn’t have known Wen Jin liked Wen Ran.
“Don’t say that, Brother Wen has a girlfriend now.”
Jing Xiaocha frowned, stopping Jin Zheyu from continuing.
Jin Zheyu smiled due to her answer, “Xiaocha, since Wen Jin has a girlfriend, don’t foolishly like him anymore.”
“Can you let focus on reading the contract?”
Jing Xiaocha didn’t want to discuss this with Jin Zheyu, so she lowered her head and continued reading the contract.
Jin Zheyu reluctantly agreed and shut his mouth, not daring to interrupt again.
“I’m done.”
Ten minutes later, Jing Xiaocha closed the contract and told Jin Zheyu.
“Xiaocha, before shooting, we’ll conduct extensive promotion, and as the screenwriter, you can fully restore the original story without compromising your initial intentions.”

The only regret is that the story was already published, and since Man Tianxue compensated her one million, Man Tianxue will forever remain the author of that story.

“Weekend?”
Today is only Monday, and the weekend is still far off.
Jin Zheyu nodded with a smile, “Yes, this weekend is my dad’s sixtieth birthday banquet, and he’s the one inviting you. There will be many experienced screenwriters and industry insiders attending his birthday banquet. You can exchange ideas with them.”
Jing Xiaocha hesitated.
Since she signed with Star Sumr Film and Television and took on the position of editor, she would frequently et Jin Zheyu’s father in the future. As a newcor, gaining experience from old screenwriters wouldn’t be a bad idea, so she agreed, “Okay, I’ll definitely go.”
