Wen Jin got in the car and saw Jing Xiaocha struggling with the seatbelt.
Her right arm was pain and inconvenient, so she used her left hand to pull the seatbelt, but it seed the seatbelt was deliberately opposing her.

Just as Wen Jin was about to drive, his phone rang.
The call was from Ou Yihan, and although Jing Xiaocha couldn’t hear what Ou Yihan said, she heard Wen Jin reply, “Wait for at the hospital, I’ll be there shortly.”
After hanging up, Wen Jin opened a nearby storage compartnt, took out a gift box tied with a ribbon, and handed it to Jing Xiaocha, “I brought this for you.”
Jing Xiaocha looked surprised, “Brother Wen, did you bring a gift?”
“Open it and see.”
A sudden cheerfulness seed to uplift Wen Jin’s mood, and a pleasant curve ford at the corner of his mouth.
Jing Xiaocha guessed it was because of the phone call with Ou Yihan. People in love are always blissful and sweet, it seed Brother Wen truly liked Ou Yihan.
Giggling, she responded ‘Okay’ and untied the ribbon, opening the box.
Upon seeing the gift inside, Jing Xiaocha couldn’t tell whether she was more shocked, delighted, or moved, as many emotions surged in her heart.
It wasn’t a particularly expensive gift but, initially, it was a clay figure they had seen at a night market stall while on a business trip.
Jing Xiaocha was fond of these little trinkets and saw the elderly vendor skillfully crafting realistic small clay figures.
She had wanted one ever since.
Unfortunately, the old man received a call and hurriedly packed up and left.
Unexpectedly, Brother Wen rembered.
How could Jing Xiaocha not be moved?
“I rember you wanted to make a figure of yourself last ti, but the old man had to leave in a hurry, and you were pouting, unhappy afterward.”
Wen Jin’s deep and gentle voice sounded in her ear, carrying a hint of teasing and laughter, treating her like a little girl who hadn’t grown up.

“Actually, you could’ve co back on your birthday, but we had to delay for two days due to a sudden deal. So I got you a make-up birthday gift. Happy birthday!”
“Brother Wen, I’m already very happy that you rember my birthday.”
Jing Xiaocha’s words were heartfelt because, in this world, the closest person to her is Wen Jin.
Back then, her mother left in such a manner, she was heartbroken, her brother and sister-in-law were sentenced, and Zhang Minghui resented her.
During those days, it was Wen Jin and Wen Ran who cared for her.
While Sister Wen treated her well, like a real sister, due to her feelings for Brother Wen, he remains the closest in her heart.

When Wen Jin and Jing Xiaocha arrived at Kangning Hospital, Ou Yihan was standing under the billboard on the roadside.
“Yihan, why are you standing out here waiting?”
Wen Jin parked the car next to her, lowered half the window, and asked Ou Yihan outside.
Ou Yihan’s bright smile showed a hint of surprise upon seeing Jing Xiaocha in the passenger seat, “Why didn’t you tell Xiaocha was with you?”
Wen Jin responded with a smile, “Xiaocha injured her arm, I’m taking her to the hospital for treatnt.”
Jing Xiaocha unbuckled her seatbelt and got off, cheerfully saying, “Sister Ou.”
“How did your arm get injured?”
Ou Yihan looked Jing Xiaocha over with concern, trying to determine which arm was hurt.
Jing Xiaocha smiled and was about to reply when Wen Jin got out of the car and spoke first, “Her arm was injured a few days ago, it wasn’t properly treated at the ti, and she didn’t pay attention, now it’s showing signs of inflammation.”
“A few days ago, when was it, is it severe?”
“You’ll know soon enough.”
After speaking, Wen Jin looked at Jing Xiaocha, “Let’s go get it treated first.”
Ou Yihan softly agreed, “Wen Jin is right, hurry up and get your wound treated, it’s easy to infla and infect in this weather.”
Not knowing which arm was injured, Ou Yihan dared not take Jing Xiaocha’s arm.
She just walked alongside Jing Xiaocha, while Wen Jin walked behind them.
“Gu Kai seems to be still finishing work, you should go find him, I’ll accompany Xiaocha for her wound treatnt and we can et at his office later.”
As they entered the hospital, Ou Yihan turned to speak to Wen Jin.
Wen Jin glanced at Jing Xiaocha and nodded, advising, “Alright, I’ll wait for you at Ah Kai’s office upstairs, make sure she gets proper treatnt.”
Ou Yihan assured him with a smile, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure Xiaocha gets her wound treated properly.”
Wen Jin then headed upstairs on the elevator while Ou Yihan accompanied Jing Xiaocha to get her wound bandaged.
“Ah Jin, did you get off at the wrong floor?”
As Wen Jin exited the elevator, he ran into Gu Kai, who was coming out of a patient room ready to finish work.
Ignoring his teasing, Wen Jin approached, his eyes scanning Gu Kai’s white coat, “You shouldn’t always wear a white coat to fool people, being a doctor is such a sacred profession.”
“Haha, seriously, if you’re not here as a twenty-four filial boyfriend, are you here to visit , your brother?”
Gu Kai stood with hands in his pockets, exuding an indescribable elegance.
“I’m here to have Xiaocha’s wound treated and also ca up to see if you’ve finished work.”
Wen Jin gave him an eye roll.
Regarding his relationship with Ou Yihan, he couldn’t quite be sure if they were considered a dating couple; Ou Yihan was always the one being proactive.
But Ou Yihan had said if he didn’t like her, she wouldn’t pester him.
For now, they were still just ordinary friends.
