Chapter 471: 470 makes people jealous
The atmosphere in the office was sowhat eerie.
Mo Xiuchen, Qin Mu, and Luo Haofeng were all smoking, each minding his own business while leaving Mo Zixuan to the side.
The sll of smoke soon pervaded the entire room, blocking Mo Xiuchen’s handso face behind a curtain of smoke. His naturally deep eyes were now more impenetrable. The confidence Mo Zixuan had initially gradually waned with the passing of each minute and second.
He looked at Mo Xiuchen and said bluntly, “As long as Wu Tianyi and Fu Jingyi remain uncaptured, Ranran is in danger. What happened the other day could occur again. Mo Xiuchen, given Ranran’s disposition, she will fall into a trap no matter who is taken hostage around her.”

At the side, Luo Haofeng kindly reminded, “During your absence, he has regained his mory.”

“As before, once you can persuade Xiao Wenqing to disclose the whereabouts of Wu Tianyi and Fu Jingyi, Xiuchen will relinquish this position to you, Mo Zixuan. Ti is limited, if more incidents occurr again…”
Qin Mu’s indifferent words were a clear warning.
It was due to his mistake last ti that Xiao Wenqing learned about Wen Ran’s identity. As a punishnt, Xiuchen won’t just hand over the position to him.
If he wants to sit in the position of the president sooner, he must make an effort to persuade Xiao Wenqing to disclose the whereabouts of Wu Tianyi and Fu Jingyi.
“I understand.”
Mo Zixuan glanced coldly at Qin Mu and turned to Mo Xiuchen, “I’m going to see my mother now and will make sure to convince her.”
With that, he turned around and left the office.
“Mo Zixuan really doesn’t acknowledge family ties. No matter how evil Xiao Wenqing is, she is still the one who gave birth to him and raised him.”
Luo Haofeng exhaled a puff of smoke and said with a sigh.
Qin Mu sneered and disagreed,”With a mother like Xiao Wenqing, it’s not surprising he turned out this way.”
“Do you think Mo Zixuan really could convince Xiao Wenqing?”
Luo Haofeng looked curiously at Mo Xiuchen and Qin Mu, “He terminated his relationship with Xiao Wenqing before, now, what could he possibly use to sway Xiao Wenqing? A threat?”
Mo Xiuchen’s brows furrowed. Even though Mo Zixuan was the only choice, he wasn’t too optimistic and felt they were just trying to bring a dead horse back to life.
“I think, Wu Tianyi and Xiao Wenqing wouldn’t be far apart. Xiao Wenqing saying he went abroad, is definitely a lie to trick us. Wu Tianyi must still be in the country. I called Uncle Ming and told him to be more careful.” Qin Mu put out his half-smoked cigarette in the ashtray laxly.
“Hmm, I knew Xiao Wenqing was lying to ; Wu Tianyi and she had been intimate for decades. She escaped from Mo’s mansion and imdiately went to join him, which implies that Wu Tianyi is not emotionless towards Xiao Wenqing. He wouldn’t go abroad without her.”
Mo Xiuchen also put out his half-smoked cigarette.
Seeing that they both had finished smoking, Luo Haofeng, having lost interest in smoking alone, also put out his cigarette bluntly. He emptied the glass of water in front of him, stood up, and said, “With so many people looking for him, Wu Tianyi will be captured sooner or later. Xiuchen, don’t worry too much.”

Wen Ran was walking around the garden pushing Bai Xiaoxiao.
At a small white round table nearby, a maid had prepared tea, snacks, and other treats that filled the table.
“Ranran, you and Mo Xiuchen took lots of photos together, right? When will you show them to ?”
Bai Xiaoxiao looked up at Wen Ran. If it weren’t for her kidnap by Xiao Wenqing as a threat to Wen Ran, she and Mo Xiuchen wouldn’t have returned so soon.
Wen Ran felt guilty. In fact, she blad herself a bit for being too careless, which had given Xiao Wenqing a chance. She felt sorry for making Ranran having to return in such a rush.
“The photos are all with Xiuchen. Are you going to see them now? I can call him to send the photos.”
Wen Ran pushed Bai Xiaoxiao back to the round small table and took a seat next to it herself, taking out her phone to call Mo Xiuchen.
The phone was picked up after two rings and Mo Xiuchen’s clear and cheerful voice ca through, “Ranran!”
“Are you busy now?”
Wen Ran’s face lit up with a gentle smile. She couldn’t see Mo Xiuchen’s expression over the phone, but she could imagine his look at the mont – he must be smiling too, handso and charming.
“Not busy, are you missing ?”
Mo Xiuchen replied in a teasing tone, naturally he wouldn’t say he was busy when talking to her.
“Sort of. Xiaoxiao wants to see the photos. Can you please send so of the pictures we took later.”
“Alright, I’ll send them to you right now.”
Bai Xiaoxiao looked at Wen Ran’s gentle smile, her eyes brimming with happiness. Just from their phone conversation, one could feel the deep affection and happiness between them.
Mo Xiuchen was swift. As he spoke, he sent the photos to Wen Ran.
“You go back to your work, Xiaoxiao and I will look at the photos.” Wen Ran, having received the photos, no longer wanted to interrupt him.
“At noon, do you want to co to pick you up?” Mo Xiuchen asked gently before hanging up.
Wen Ran refused with a smile, “No need to co and pick up. Have lunch with Luo Haofeng and the others. I will accompany Xiaoxiao here. Co to fetch after you get off the work in the afternoon.”
“Alright, have fun, call if anything happens.” Mo Xiuchen did not insist. Although he wanted to have lunch with Wen Ran and wished he could always have her by his side, he didn’t want to force her and let her have so freedom.
After saying goodbye, Wen Ran hung up the phone.
Bai Xiaoxiao enviously said, “Ranran, you and Mo Xiuchen are so happy together. It makes people jealous.”
