Chapter 508: 507 He is afraid he will miss you
“Do you also hope that I divorce Ranran?”
Mo Xiuchen looked sharply at Gu Kai, whose face was composed, with warm eyes, showing no signs of anomaly.

“I won’t agree!”

Mo Xiuchen’s face was extrely pale.
He was shrouded in thick sadness, Gu Kai’s words were reasonable, but he couldn’t muster the heart to follow it.
The atmosphere in the office was sowhat stagnant.
Seeing that Mo Xiuchen remained silent and did not agree, Gu Kai also stopped talking, just quietly looking at him.

“Okay, I’ll be there in a while.”

After lunch, Bai Xiaoxiao’s mother felt unwell and went ho; at this mont, only Wen Ran was left. Wen Ran told Auntie Li and then went upstairs to put on a coat before going out.
Qin Mu had arranged to et in a coffee shop near Wen Family’s house, obviously considering her convenience.
Ten minutes later, Wen Ran arrived at the coffee shop. As soon as she walked in, she saw the window seat where Qin Mu was sitting, basking in the sunlight.
Seeing her approaching, he stood up, smiled at her and gestured for her to sit down.
“What would you like to drink?”
Qin Mu glanced at Wen Ran, not sure if it was his imagination, but in just three days, he thought she seed thinner.
“I would like a cup of hot water, thank you.”
After informing the waiter, Wen Ran looked back at Qin Mu and gently asked, “Is it not busy at the company? You have ti to co out.”
“With Xiuchen there, I’m off.”
Qin Mu shrugged, leaned back in his chair, gazing deeply at Wen Ran seated opposite him.
Wen Ran looked at him in surprise, “Off? Has he given you a break? Or are you leaving again?”
“Xiuchen gave ti off, he also gave Ah Feng a break. He said that he’ll take care of all our work himself,” Qin Mu said. His tone was full of emotion, but suppressed.
Wen Ran frowned, “Can he handle it all by himself?”
“Of course he can’t.”
Qin Mu answered quickly. He and Ah Feng weren’t just hanging around, Xiuchen taking on work ant working overti and constantly being busy. So busy, that, he wouldn’t have ti to think about her!
Seeing the empathy in her eyes, Qin Mu’s gaze flickered a bit. He continued, “He’s probably afraid that if he’s idle, he’ll co to bother you. Even if he’s not bothering you, he’ll be thinking about you. So, he gave and Ah Feng both ti off and took all the work himself.”
The waiter brought the hot water, Wen Ran took it and held it in her hand, her eyes fixed on the water in the cup, her lips tightly pursed.
“Wen Ran, Ah Kai went to the company to see Xiuchen at noon.”
Qin Mu saw her with her head down, her hair falling on both sides of her face. He couldn’t see the expression on her face but from her tightly pursed lips, he could guess her mood. His heart tightened as a result.
Upon hearing this, Wen Ran raised her head. There was a touch of surprise in her clear eyes, “What did my brother say to him?”
“He asked Xiuchen to divorce you.”
Qin Mu’s voice was very calm, as if their divorce only concerned the two of them.
Wen Ran’s expression stiffens.
She was taken back by Gu Kai’s action. How could he ask Mo Xiuchen to divorce her? Just yesterday at the hospital, he didn’t agree.
“Wen Ran, Ah Kai said that the result of your examination yesterday was better than before. I have an inappropriate question: if the dicine you took is effective, why must you divorce Xiuchen?”
Wen Ran’s eyes flickered. Her mind was a ss.
“I’ve known Xiuchen for so many years. He’s never been as happy as he was a few months ago and he’s never been as sad as he is now. He considers you more important than himself. For you, not to ntion his reputation, he can even give up his life. I believe you can feel this.”
“Wen Ran, if you leave Xiuchen, that’s like pushing him back into his previous solitude. If I were you, even if I couldn’t accompany him till old age, I wouldn’t leave him. Instead, I would cherish every mont together, staying with him to the last second!”
This was the first ti she had such a conversation with Qin Mu since she t him, and also the first ti he uttered so many words to her.
