Bai Xiaoxiao’s mind was racing as she speculated randomly.
Wen Ran gave a nonchalant smile, placed his phone on the coffee table, accepted the orange handed to him, bit half of it, chewed carefully and swallowed before saying, “Maybe, he even knows that MS Group is holding a celebration dinner for Cheng Jia tonight, saying that Cheng Jia will try to seduce Mo Xiuchen tonight.”

Gu Kai nodded, pressed the answer button, and said in a low, gentle voice, “Hello, Ranran!”
“Older Brother Gu, are you free now? Can you help lookup a phone number?”
Hearing Wen Ran’s words, Gu Kai’s eyes suddenly flashed with a hint of surprise, then followed by a slight smile at the corner of his mouth. He leaned back in his chair and cheerfully said, “No problem, send the number over, and I’ll let you know the result later.”
“Okay!”
Wen Ran agreed, and a mont later, Gu Kai’s phone rang. It was the phone number sent by Wen Ran. He glanced at it, “Ranran, I’ve received the phone number. By the way, Mo Xiuchen called last night and said you went back.”
“Yes, I’m at ho now.”
Wen Ran did not hide from him and answered truthfully.
“Ranran, did Mo Xiuchen say sothing to you that made you change your mind? Have you decided not to divorce him?”
Gu Kai glanced at Gu Yan and switched to speakerphone.
“He didn’t say much, it was . I promised him that I would think about it again. Older Brother Gu, has Mo Xiuchen’s check-up result co out?”
Wen Ran’s voice paused for a mont before she asked the last question.
The force with which she held the phone tightened slightly as she spoke.
“Not yet, we have been too busy recently, it’s been delayed by a day, the result should be out tomorrow.” Gu Kai lied without batting an eyelid. Mo Xiuchen’s checkup result was at this mont right on his father’s desk.
“Oh, once the result is out, rember to let know.”
Wen Ran hesitated for a mont before gently reminding him.
“Ranran, if you don’t want to divorce Xiuchen, just don’t worry too much, follow your heart. He’s been taking Chinese dicine for several years, and he’s in very good health.”

Gu Kai put away his phone and looked at Gu Yan worriedly. Mo Xiuchen’s checkup results had already co out. Currently, there was only a slight abnormality. He wasn’t sure whether this slight abnormality was truly related to Wen Ran or not.
Gu Yan’s brows furrowed deeply, and he said heavily, “We can’t let Ranran know, but we must let Mo Xiuchen know. Since he called last night and asked about it, we can’t keep it a secret from him.”
Gu Kai’s eyes swept over the checkup report on the desk, his handso brows were clouded with worry. “If Mo Xiuchen’s condition really has sothing to do with Ranran, instead of letting go, he would…”
Based on his understanding of Mo Xiuchen and his feelings for Ranran, he was certain that if Mo Xiuchen knew about the ‘virus’ in Ranran’s body and that it could be transferred to him by them staying together, and this would mitigate any harm to her, he would definitely want to use that thod to help her recover. Although his physical examination results were not the sa as Ranran’s.

No wonder why Wen Ran proposed a divorce from Mo Xiuchen. How could she harm the man she deeply loves? She would rather leave him than hurting him.

Gu Yan raised his hand and rubbed his forehead. Since knowing about Ranran’s illness, most of his ti was spent in the laboratory, conducting various experints and looking for various solutions.
