Chapter 561: 560 Okay, I listen to you
“I don’t have ti for idle chat with you now, I’m hanging up.” Mo Xiuchen arrogantly stated, ready to end the call.
“Mo Xiuchen, don’t be too hasty to hang up, we have sothing serious to talk to you.” On the other end of the phone, Luo Haofeng, hearing that he wanted to hang up, imdiately interjected to stop him.
Mo Xiuchen’s narrowed eyes slightly squinted. In the midst of their conversation, he had already walked over to Wen Ran by the side of the road.

As Luo Haofeng’s voice ca across the waves, Mo Xiuchen listened, a hint of cold mockery on his lips. “That’s his problem, it has nothing to do with .”

Seeing this situation, Mo Jingteng had no choice but to find Luo Haofeng and Qin Mu to persuade Mo Xiuchen to return to his position as president.
Their words betrayed their fear that Luo Haofeng and Qin Mu would leave the company along with Mo Xiuchen. Indeed, both of them had also handed in their resignations. As the sunlight shone down from the sky, Mo Xiuchen’s narrowed eyes squinted slightly. Turning his gaze, he looked through the lowered car window at the woman sitting in the car, his eyes lingered on her fair, exquisite, and incredibly beautiful cheek.
The trace of mockery at the corner of his mouth was replaced by a tender smile. Feeling his gaze, the woman in the car lifts her eyes to et his. As their eyes tangled in the air, a warm current slipped through his heart. Nonchalantly he spoke into the phone, “I’ll call you back later.”
With these words, he did not give Luo Haofeng the chance to respond before he hangs up the call, takes a few steps forward, pulls open the car door, and bends down to climb inside.
Seeing Mo Xiuchen’s gaze focused steadily on her, Wen Ran’s face started to flush a bit. In front of Qing Feng and Qing Yang, she did not have the sa thick skin as Mo Xiuchen. She lowered her eyelids, ceasing the eye contact.
“Ranran!”
As soon as Mo Xiuchen sat in the car, his arm slid around her shoulders. Gently pulling her into his chest, he completely ignored Qing Feng, who had just got into the car, and Qing Yang who was already sitting in the driver’s seat. His deep and clear gaze was filled with warmth as it locked onto Wen Ran. As he parted his lips to speak, his warm breath accompanied his magnetic voice to her ear:
“It’s already noon. Do you want to go ho for lunch, or eat out?”
Wen Ran looked at Mo Xiuchen’s handso face, and softly replied, “Let’s go ho to eat. You’ve just resigned, you should take a rest today. Tomorrow, you can accompany to go out.”
There was a hint of fatigue hidden between his eyebrows. She was certain that he didn’t rest much the previous night. Coupled with the car accident, she thought what he needed most now was so good rest.
Listening to her say this, a sexy smile hooked the corners of his mouth and a smile shimred in his deep eyes. His large hand on her shoulder naturally moved to hold her smaller one and his handso face leaned against her beautiful one. “Alright, I’ll listen to you.”
Her concern made him feel warm and moved.
As long as she was by his side, he would do anything for her. He lifts his eyes to tell Qing Yang in the front seat to ‘head ho’. Then looking down again his gaze stayed on the woman nestling in his arms.
Had there been any other way, he wouldn’t have pretended to die just to make her agree to stay. Now though, Ranran had not only unlocked her heart but also realized that nothing was more important than treasuring their ti together. He felt his choice was wise.
On the way to the hospital, Qing Yang had driven really fast due to Wen Ran’s panic. Now, looking at the two intertwined people in the back seat, who weren’t speaking, but still exuded such a warm and sweet atmosphere, making others envious, Qing Yang drove really slow.
All the way ho from the hospital, Mo Xiuchen kept his gaze on Wen Ran. Wen Ran on the other hand, nestled in his embrace, with her head resting on his shoulder, breathing in his familiar, reassuring cool scent. She closed her eyes in satisfaction and unknowingly fell asleep.
Last night, Mo Xiuchen had left the master bedroom and gone to the guest room. She, lying alone in the king-sized bed ant for both of them was tossing and turning without any hint of sleepiness.
Not until dawn did she get to sleep. Now, nestled in his arms, she felt secure and satisfied, making it easy for her to fall asleep.
As the business vehicle entered the villa premises, Mo Xiuchen glanced at the peacefully sleeping woman in his arms and signaled Qing Yang not to make any noise with his hand. Qing Feng, understandingly got out of the car and opened the car door for him. He carefully held the sleeping Wen Ran and stepped out of the car.
Being held by him while she slept, Wen Ran’s brows furrowed slightly, seemingly uncomfortable. Seeing this, Mo Xiuchen gently smiled, his loving words floated out, “Ranran, you sleep.”
His voice was very low, very gentle. His handso eyebrows radiated warmth and love, his eyes even more so. They stayed concentrated on the woman in his arms, making Qing Feng and Qing Yang at the side sigh at the sweet scene.
Recalling Wen Ran’s anxiety at the hospital, the sight of her rushing out of the car and running into the hospital before it even stopped, gave Qing Feng a stronger desire to see their happier and loving monts.
The noon sunlight was warm but not fierce.
Literally in the season of spring. In the garden, a few types of flower were in full bloom. The fragrance wafting in the wind was intoxicating. Mo Xiuchen didn’t hurry, nor did he feel tired. The woman in his arms had lost quite a lot of weight recently, so she didn’t feel heavy in his arms at all.
He held her and walked slowly, using his own jacket to shield her face from the wind, taking steady steps slowly towards the living room.
