Chapter 639: 638 I pick to eat by myself
Mo Xiuchen didn’t stand up, his long figure was leaning lazily against the couch, legs casually propped up. His handso profile turned slightly, his eyes soft, with an attractive, light smile tugging at his lips.

Wen Ran glanced at her in a slightly irritated way, then turned to Gu Kai with a smile and asked casually, “Brother, did you do a health check-up on Mo Xiuchen?”
Gu Kai refilled a cup of water for her and Shen Yuting. Hearing Wen Ran’s words while coming back, he raised an eyebrow and smiled, giving her a cup of water, “Would I dare to not carry out your instructions. Don’t worry, Xiuchen is healthier than . Mo Xiuchen let out a hearty laugh, stood up while holding Wen Ran, “Ranran, let’s go.”

Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran did not head ho but bought so ingredients, drove out of the city area, and started heading towards the suburbs. “Ranran, there’s a restaurant up ahead. If you’re hungry, we can go there and eat first.”
Mo Xiuchen was glancing at the traffic as he drove and spoke to Wen Ran sitting next to him.
She leaned against the car seat, her eyes elegant and peaceful, softly gazing at him driving. The small space inside the car felt tranquil and warm.
“I’m not hungry, you don’t need to stop the car. Let’s go straight to the destination. I’m more interested in the upcoming cherries.”
She looked up at him and said with a smiling face.
“Alright!”
Mo Xiuchen agreed with an indulgent smile, free a hand to fondle her hair, then took control of the steering wheel again.
Wen Ran grumbled and after a mont, asked with concern, “Xiuchen, are you tired? If you are, we can switch. You rest for a while, and I’ll drive.”
“Not tired.”
“Okay then, you drive carefully. I will be responsible for enjoying the scenery.”
Wen Ran looked out of the car window. The roadside trees and the distant buildings retreated rapidly. As they got further away from the city noise, they could see various fruit tress and fruits along the way, the air was also noticeably fresh.
They arrived at the destination at one o’clock in the afternoon.
“Ranran, are you hungry?”
The car drove into a countryside villa. Mo Xiuchen parked the car and, leaning over, asked Wen Ran sitting in the passenger seat.
Wen Ran touched her stomach, but her eyes were drawn to the cherries on the trees outside the car window. She could not take her eyes off them greedily. “Hungry!”
Mo Xiuchen chuckled, “I’ll pick so cherries for you to eat while I prepare lunch, how about that?”
Wen Ran’s eyes lit up, not because of his words, but because the villa was surrounded by cherry trees and each tree carried enough fruit for her to eat for several days.
“No need, I’ll just climb the tree myself, there’s no need for you to pick them for .”
He had just unbuckled her seat belt when she jumped out of the car and rushed towards the cherry tree a few steps away.
“Ranran!”
Mo Xiuchen wanted to protest, saying that climbing the tree to eat wasn’t safe.
But seeing Wen Ran climb up the tree agilely like a monkey, in just a few quick moves, holding onto a branch with one hand and popping a bright red cherry into her mouth with the other. The sunlight piercing through the branches struck her fair, pretty face, highlighting her sweet smile. She looked so bright and beautiful that he just lted.
He could not find it in him to make her co down.
Seeing him standing there watching her, Wen Ran winked at him and cheerily called out, “Xiuchen, co over, these cherries are so delicious. Co quick, I’ll pick one for you to try.”
Mo Xiuchen smiled, catching her leaning out to pick cherries on a far branch. He quickly advised, “Ranran, be careful, don’t pick the ones on the branches that are too far away.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t fall.”
The cherries growing towards the direction of the sun were big, and full of juicy freshness, making them the best to eat.
She leaned half of her body out, stretching out her arm, and finally picked a handful. She crouched down, bent down, and offered the cherries in her hand to Mo Xiuchen.
“Xiuchen, have a taste.”
Mo Xiuchen smiled and took the cherries from her hand, but said worriedly, “Ranran, co down. I’ll go up and pick them for you.”
“No need, I want to pick them in my own, it’s more fun that way.”
Wen Ran turned down his offer, but Mo Xiuchen protested, “It’s not hygienic to eat like this. Pick them down, wash them before eating.”
“Xiuchen, it rained last night, the cherries right now are very clean, they don’t need to be washed. You must be tired after driving a long ti. You rest for a while, and I’ll continue picking cherries for you to eat.”
