Chapter 715: 714 Don’t bla him
Since it is impossible for Mo Xiuchen and Ranran to be together, there might be hope for Ah Mu.
Mother Qin didn’t care that Wen Ran was a divorcee, after all, it’s his son who was attracted to her.
“I don’t know either. Have the driver wait at the airport in two hours, I’ll call Wen Ran in a bit and let you know once I get the ti.”
Qin Mu thought for a while, and then spoke again.
All he was thinking about was that he couldn’t let Wen Ran take a taxi when she arrived in A City.
He had to send a chauffeur to pick her up. She was unfamiliar with A City and she was a girl who would be alone. Taking a taxi would be unsafe.
Ten minutes later, Qin Mu called Wen Ran once again to confirm her arrival ti. His mood was excellent for the rest of the afternoon,
Wen Ran didn’t go to A City alone, Luo Haofeng went with her.
What a coincidence, when she called Gu Kai to inform him that she was going to A City to examine fruit seedlings and check up on Qin Mu, Luo Haofeng was in Gu Kai’s office.
Gu Kai didn’t feel at ease with her traveling alone, and worried that it might be tough for her, so he asked Luo Haofeng to go with her.
Wen Ran didn’t refuse. Having Luo Haofeng with her, she actually felt relieved.
The Qin family’s driver recognized them, and went straight to greet them as soon as he saw them through security checks.
As they got into the car, the driver didn’t ask where they wanted to go and drove directly to the hospital where Qin Mu was staying.
“Luo Haofeng, aren’t you working as well? How do you have so much free ti?”
During the drive to the hospital, Wen Ran chatted with Luo Haofeng and casually asked this question.
Luo Haofeng glanced at her in surprise, “Wen Ran, don’t you know I’m now working for Haochen?”
“You’re working for Haochen?”
Wen Ran was taken aback, thinking she had misheard. It seed she hadn’t been paying attention lately, hiding at ho and deliberately cutting herself off from the outside world.
Bai Xiaoxiao had co to her house several tis before, and when they chatted, they only spoke about womanly matters.

Seeing the dazed look on Wen Ran’s face, Luo Haofeng smiled.
He said, “Yes, I’ve been working at Haochen for half a month now. I went to G City on a business trip yesterday. I’m actually here in A City working as well, not just accompanying you.”
Haochen. That company was a joint venture between Mo Xiuchen, Luo Haofeng, and Qin Mu.
It’s true, ntioning anyone or anything would imdiately remind her of the person in her heart.
“So it turns out.”
Wen Ran put on a faint smile, but it lacked the brightness and brilliance of the past.
Looking at her, Luo Haofeng exhaled lightly, feeling a bit gloomy, “That guy Mo Xiuchen, seems to view us all as enemies since he lost his mory. Even his own company, he doesn’t hold back at all. If we had known it would be so troubleso, we never would have mixed Haochen up with the MS Group.”
“What kind of trouble?”
Wen Ran looked at Luo Haofeng in confusion. She knew that until recently, Haochen had been subtly consuming the MS Group, as arranged by Mo Xiuchen.
In his current state of amnesia, he is the CEO of the MS Group, and it’s only logical for him to suppress Haochen, his competitor, fiercely.
Luo Haofeng frowned, “Mo Xiuchen wants to completely destroy Haochen now. Even though he is overseas, he has always controlled the operations of the MS Group. In just over a month, he has made all our previous efforts in vain. If I see him, I really want to give him a good beating.”
Luo Haofeng wasn’t upset over the company, but annoyed because Mo Xiuchen’s stroke of malicious brilliance forced him to leave G City and go to City C to help out.
He secretly hoped during his trip to A City, Qin Mu could return to hold the fort.
“Don’t bla Mo Xiuchen. He doesn’t rember the past, so naturally, he wouldn’t know his relationship with Haochen.”
Wen Ran heard Luo Haofeng’s words and her ears echoed with the voice of the past, carrying three parts confusion and two parts loneliness. Her heart ached trendously.
Luo Haofeng let out a dry laugh, “Wen Ran, I don’t bla Mo Xiuchen.”
As his peach blossom eyes flickered, an idea crossed his mind.
Giggling, he said, “I heard from Ah Kai that you’ve been staying at ho these days doing nothing. Why not co and help out at Haochen?”
“?”
A hint of surprise flashed across Wen Ran’s face.
Luo Haofeng raised his handso eyebrow, as if it were a matter of course, “Yes, Haochen is not just mine and Ah Mu’s but Mo Xiuchen also owns a part of it. Besides, you’ve worked with Mo Xiuchen for so long, you should be familiar with his strategies. If we want to save Haochen, I can’t do it alone.”
“You aren’t bad at all.”
Wen Ran looked at Luo Haofeng suspiciously. He understood Mo Xiuchen just as well as she did.
Luo Haofeng shook his head, “I’m not as ruthless and bold as Mo Xiuchen. Wen Ran, let be honest with you, I’m in a difficult position. Xiaoxiao’s mom has never liked and if I stay in City C for too long, Xiaoxiao may end up with another man.”
A subtle twitch appeared at the corners of Wen Ran’s mouth and a faint smile spread across her lips.
“Wen Ran, if you go to City C to help , I can spend more ti going back to see Xiaoxiao. You don’t want Xiaoxiao to marry so no-good man, do you?”
Luo Haofeng appealed to her emotions.
The smile on his face instantly gave way to look of sorrow and Wen Ran really couldn’t bear to say no.
After hesitating for a mont, she couldn’t resist his pitiful gaze.
In a soft voice, she answered, “Alright, but I’m occupied these few days. Once I’m done with my work, I’ll start working for Haochen.”
“What are you busy with? I can help you!”
Luo Haofeng wished he could persuade Wen Ran to join Haochen right away. If her business was in G City, he would willingly exchange tasks with her.
Wen Ran’s eyes flickered, and she calmly replied, “I’m having Qing Feng and Qing Yang go to the countryside to plant so flowers, grasses, and other fruit trees. That’s what I’m here in A City to investigate.”
“…”
Luo Haofeng opened his mouth, wanting to say sothing but finding it inappropriate. He looked both weird and funny.
In the end, it was Wen Ran who gave a faint smile, “You don’t have to make faces like that. Just say what you want to say, I won’t be upset.”
Luo Haofen felt sowhat awkward. Hearing her say so, an instant smile appeared on his handso face, “Wen Ran, aren’t you worried that Mo Xiuchen might really end up with Cheng Jia?”
Wen Ran’s expression froze for a mont, she turned to look out the window. Her voice softened and almost as soon as the words left her mouth, they were carried away by the wind, “He won’t.”
Luo Haofeng didn’t catch what she said, he looked at her doubtfully, “Wen Ran, what did you say?”
Wen Ran turned her head and gave him a faint smile, “It’s nothing.”
With that, she looked out of the car window again.
The streetscape rapidly passing by in her sight was the sa that Mo Xiuchen had walked with her while holding her hand, not long ago.
Even if he was not by her side, he was always on her mind.
