Chapter 846: I am hungry now.
“Ranran, I’m not sleepy,”
Mo Xiuchen shook his head. He wasn’t just not sleepy; he was also very energetic and curious about where Wen Ran was going to take him.
Wen Ran smiled, “Alright, if you’re not sleeping, then keep company.”

The two agreed, and Wen Ran drove to the closest mall.
Shopping didn’t take much ti, but the amount they bought was more than enough to surprise Wen Ran. Of course, Mo Xiuchen was the one who chose everything, and he picked all the things that Wen Ran liked to eat.
Wen Ran protested, but to no avail.
In the end, she let Mo Xiuchen buy anyway.
She thought they wouldn’t need to eat lunch after buying so much, but just as they were putting the stuff in the trunk and Wen Ran was about to get into the car, Mo Xiuchen pulled her aside and said in a low voice, “Ranran, let’s go to the restaurant next door to eat.”
Wen Ran was startled, her clear, bright eyes blinked, “Didn’t you just say you weren’t going to eat?”
He had just bought so many ingredients that it was enough for more than two als, they wouldn’t be able to finish it all even in two days…
“I’m hungry now. Let’s just eat sothing to tide us over. It’s noon already,” Mo Xiuchen’s lips curved into a tender smile. He had said he wasn’t going to eat because he thought about getting to the place she ntioned earlier. But then, he was worried she might get too hungry.
Wen Ran turned to glance at the restaurant and smiled, “Alright, since you’re hungry, we should eat first.”
The smile on Mo Xiuchen’s lips deepened as he pulled her toward the restaurant.

Shen Yuting carried her shopping bags back to their apartnt, where Jiang Liu was playing video gas in the study.
Seeing her enter with a mix of big and small bags, Jiang Liu imdiately greeted her with a smile and ca forward to take the bags from her hands, “Yuting, why did you buy so much? Let help you.”
“No need,” Shen Yuting dodged his extended hand, her tone harsh. After speaking, she gave a cold glance at the open study door and headed into the bedroom carrying the bags.
Jiang Liu frowned in confusion and followed her into the bedroom. His gaze swept over her bags as he continued to ask gently, “Yuting, have you had lunch? If not, I can make it for you right now. What would you like to eat?”
“I don’t want to eat. You make sothing for yourself,”
Shen Yuting looked at his smiling face, and for a mont, she was dazed, Mo Xiuchen’s handso face floated before her eyes. Although Jiang Liu tried to emulate Mo Xiuchen, he was still a counterfeit.
She shook her head, her tone slightly softer than before.
“You can’t just not eat. Yuting, are you too tired from shopping, so you don’t have an appetite? How about this, I’ll cook so porridge for you, stir-fry a couple of light dishes, or make you so cold noodles.”
Shen Yuting closed her eyes briefly, then continued to take the clothes out of the bags and hang them in the wardrobe. After hanging everything, she turned around and looked seriously at Jiang Liu.
The smile on Jiang Liu’s face grew even tenderer as he reached out to grab Shen Yuting’s hand and said softly, “Yuting, you rest for a while, and after lunch, I’ll help you sort out these clothes.”
Shen Yuting’s heart swelled with a twinge of guilt, how could she not feel the kindness Jiang Liu had shown her.
In these past months, she had not been without feelings for him; if she truly had no feelings, she wouldn’t have been with him for so long.
Yet, in those feelings, how much was because his face bore a resemblance to that other person, and how much for that occasional temperant he displayed.
Had she not encountered Mo Xiuchen, Shen Yuting might truly have buried that love deep in her heart, but now, Mo Xiuchen had returned, in the guise of having amnesia, forgetting Wen Ran.
The love she had deeply buried in her heart was like grass withered in the depths of winter, that with the arrival of spring’s warmth, started to feel an irrepressible urge to break through the soil.
“Ah Liu, I didn’t buy you any clothes today.”
Shen Yuting cast her eyes down to the pile of bags before her, all of which contained her own clothes, shoes, bags, and all of these, every single one, had been paid for by Mo Xiuchen.

“Alright.”
Lying powerless on the bed after the passion had subsided, now looking at this man, Shen Yuting couldn’t quite describe the taste in her heart.

She knew she shouldn’t love him, yet she couldn’t control her own heart.
