Chapter 859: 858 Love at first sight?
“Ah Mu, what you said, is it true?”
Luo Haofeng’s eyes widened in shock. He was in City C; how could he possibly know about what was happening in G City?
“Do I gain anything from lying to you?” Qin Mu retorted, the corners of his mouth curling into an amused arc.
“Ah Mu, how did you co to know?”
“Mo Xiuchen said it, I think it was the night before last. He ntioned that he had already sent Yu Ke’s people to discuss the terms with MS Group these past couple of days. I ant to tell you, but I’ve been too busy.”
“Ah Mu, you’re going to be the death of .”

“Can’t you just make sure Qi iling doesn’t show up in front of them?” Qin Mu raised an eyebrow nonchalantly.
Luo Haofeng’s mouth twitched, “Qi iling has legs; can I guarantee she won’t appear in front of Mo Xiuchen and Ranran?”
Qin Mu chuckled and said, “That’s not the point, is it? You’re worried that one day, Mo Xiuchen, in a bad mood, might deliberately let Qi iling show up before them?”
“Do you also think Mo Xiuchen would do that?”
“It’s not about thinking. It’s that you better not provoke him these days. Have you already irritated him?” Qin Mu narrowed his eyes, asking in suspicion.
Luo Haofeng suddenly thought of sothing and slapped his forehead, “That’s quite possible. Just now, Mo Xiuchen said he and Ranran had things to do, implying they were together. Could it be that I ssed up sothing good for him?”
Qin Mu lowered his eyes, concealing a fleeting wistfulness, and said indifferently, “When Mo Xiuchen called two days ago, he was on a business trip out of town. If he’s back in G City now and with Ranran, being disturbed by you would definitely make him unhappy.”
“Why am I so unlucky.” Luo Haofeng rubbed his forehead and then glanced at the watch on his wrist, “I have to go to the airport to pick up Qi iling.”
“You’re picking up Qi iling? You and her?” Qin Mu looked at Luo Haofeng with surprise.
Luo Haofeng’s expression cooled slightly, “I have no relationship with Qi iling. I asked her to co to City C as I want to clear things up with her, and plan to send her ho when I’m free in a couple of days.”
“Why are you suddenly being so kind to Qi iling, even going to the airport to pick her up? Ah Feng, are you seriously considering being with Qi iling?”
Qin Mu looked at Luo Haofeng with an inquisitive gaze.
He wouldn’t really sacrifice his whole life just to please his mom, would he?
Luo Haofeng’s eyes flickered, his tone becoming sowhat harsh, “Gu Kai told that last night, Qi iling caused trouble for Xiaoxiao.”
That explains it.
“Then you go to the airport to pick her up.”
Qin Mu didn’t say much more, for Ah Feng’s heart couldn’t let go of Bai Xiaoxiao. It was apparent to him.
As a brother, Ah Feng and he were suffering from the sa plight. The only difference, and perhaps a slightly better aspect for him, was that he and Bai Xiaoxiao liked each other, while he himself, thinking of Ranran, felt a fresh pang of pain at his heart.
In this life, it was impossible, and even in many lives to co, it seed just as unattainable.
Ranran and Mo Xiuchen loved each other so deeply; all he could do was to silently protect them until the day they were happy, and then quietly leave, without causing a disturbance.

When people in love are together, everything they do brims with romance.
Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran together, even if they did nothing but gaze at each other, felt an overflowing sense of happiness.
Having finished the strawberries on the plate, Mo Xiuchen took Wen Ran’s hand and walked out of the villa to water the flower seedlings.
Wen Ran stood to one side, watching Mo Xiuchen intently water the plants; without realizing it, her lips curved into a tender smile. Mo Xiuchen lifted his eyes and caught the warmth in her gaze, his own face breaking into an indulgent smile.
“Ranran, where did we leave off yesterday?”
“Left off where?” Wen Ran was so intently watching him that his sudden question caught her off guard, and she struggled to keep up with her thoughts.
Mo Xiuchen chuckled softly, “You promised yesterday that you would tell one thing about our past every day.”
“Oh,” Wen Ran laughed, a bit embarrassed. She was beginning to realize how infatuated she was becoming with this man; his simple act of watering the flowers had her utterly captivated.
After so thought, she said softly, “At first, you didn’t like , you were very cold to .”
“And you, did you like at the beginning?”
Mo Xiuchen’s eyes twinkled as he asked with a smile.
Wen Ran nodded honestly, “I didn’t even know you at first, how could I possibly like you.”
“So when did you start to like ?” Mo Xiuchen was very interested in this, he stopped watering the plants, placed the watering can on the flower stand next to him, and gazed at Wen Ran with intense eyes.
The sunlight filtering through the leaves, dappled across Wen Ran’s fair and lovely face, in her eyes, upon her hair, like sprinkles of golden light. As the light in her eyes shifted, it sparkled with radiant brilliance: “I don’t know when it happened, but I just found myself liking you.”
As she spoke, her eyes and brows were touched with a layer of heart-stirring tenderness, and Mo Xiuchen felt as if a feather had lightly tickled his heart, spreading a feeling that words couldn’t express in an instant.
“Ranran, didn’t you fall in love with at first sight?” Mo Xiuchen teased.
“Love at first sight? Sorry, but no, that’s not true.” Wen Ran said with an apology, though her brows and eyes were brimming with laughter, as if with the slightest hint of regret.
Laughing, she said, “At the beginning, you spread rumors everywhere, saying that you were impotent. How could I possibly fall in love with you at first sight?”
As soon as she said this, Wen Ran felt a little regret, not because she had unveiled soone’s scar, but because of the aningful smile at the corner of Mo Xiuchen’s mouth.
“Ranran, do you an to say that it’s because I was supposedly impotent? If you knew I was normal, and in fact very healthy, would you have fallen for at first sight?”
Mo Xiuchen’s smile gave Wen Ran the shivers, and she instinctively took a step back.
However, Mo Xiuchen closed the distance with a step forward and pulled her into his embrace, his large hand around her slender waist, his deep gaze sweeping across the beauty of her chest as he deliberately lowered his voice to a husky tone, “Ranran, you may not have fallen for at first sight, but I fell for you as soon as I saw you, and I’m very healthy now. Would you like to ‘check’ for yourself?”
“Check?”
Wen Ran’s brain short-circuited again.
She was not accustod to Mo Xiuchen’s constant flirtation, her heart racing on cue, her thoughts thrown into disarray. What annoyed her most was that she found herself not at all resistant to his ambiguous advances.
On the contrary, she fell for them ti and again.
“Yes, check it out, and you’ll know that the rumors are false,” Mo Xiuchen said with a thick smile, teasing her on purpose.
Wen Ran’s face flushed crimson, her mind conjuring up unsuitable-for-children images, those passionate, tender nights where she did more than just check his health, over and over begging for rcy amidst his thrusts…
“No need, I believe you’re very healthy.”
“Haha, Ranran, you look so cute when your face turns red,” Mo Xiuchen laughed heartily, he enjoyed the sight of Ranran blushing imnsely.
Wen Ran glared at him, “Are you actually teasing ?”
Mo Xiuchen’s eyes narrowed playfully, “Ranran, could it be that you really want to ‘check’?”
