Chapter 861: Do you want to help you?
Happiness always seems to pass particularly quickly.
Wen Ran and Mo Xiuchen’s three days in the countryside villa blinked away in an instant.
On the third evening, after dinner, Mo Xiuchen accompanied Wen Ran on the rooftop to watch the stars.
After a noon rain shower, the night wind carried a hint of coolness brushing past the nose, filled with a fresh and elegant floral fragrance, entering the lungs with each breath and making the whole mood feel relieved.
With her hand resting on the rail, her slender body nestled in Mo Xiuchen’s embrace, the two of them leaned against each other, imrsing the surrounding air with strands of happiness.
“Ranran, tired?”
After a while, Mo Xiuchen’s deep and gentle voice arose by her ear, and as he spoke, his thin lips lightly brushed her sensitive earlobe, causing Wen Ran to tilt her head to the side from the tingling sensation.
“Not tired.”
“Let’s go downstairs, you should rest early.”
Mo Xiuchen turned her head to face him, gazed at her clear eyes, and said gently, “You shouldn’t get too tired these past few days.”
eting his gaze filled with tenderness, Wen Ran’s heart ward, and a smile involuntarily spread across her face. She nodded obediently, “Alright, let’s go down.”
“Mmm.” Mo Xiuchen clasped her hand, their fingers tenderly intertwining.
The warmth of each other passed through their fingertips directly to the heart. Without words, just this gesture deeply conveyed their profound love.
As their eyes t, all they reflected was tenderness.
Tonight was their last night here. They would return to G city tomorrow, and Wen Ran felt unexpectedly reluctant. Back in the master bedroom, Mo Xiuchen made a cup of brown sugar water for Wen Ran and said carefully and considerately, “Ranran, drink this brown sugar water first, I’ll go draw a bath for you. Let’s not use the tub tonight, you can take a shower standing.”
“You really know a lot.”
Wen Ran couldn’t help but tease him; he had amnesia and still knew all this.
Mo Xiuchen’s lips twitched into a smile and he said, “Isn’t this common sense, Ranran, don’t you know?”
Ignoring him, Wen Ran finished her cup of brown sugar water, placed it back on the coffee table, and then said, “I can draw the bath myself, you rest awhile.”
“Okay.”
Mo Xiuchen did not argue with her, but gently acquiesced, turning towards the walk-in closet.
Surprised, Wen Ran blinked and followed him, asking, “Mo Xiuchen, your clothes are in your room, why are you looking for clothes?”
“You go draw the bath, I’ll find clothes for you.”
Mo Xiuchen didn’t look back, stepping into the walk-in closet, but Wen Ran’s face heated up, and she quickly said, “No need, I can find them myself.”
“Ranran, or would you like to help you bathe?” Mo Xiuchen turned around, looking at the approaching Wen Ran with a aningful smile.
Wen Ran stopped in her tracks, last night’s scene flashing before her eyes. Her face suddenly burned red, and seeing Mo Xiuchen’s increasingly enchanting smile, she glared at him and turned, heading towards the bathroom.
“Haha!”
Watching her shy deanor, Mo Xiuchen couldn’t help but laugh aloud.
Ironically, it was just Mo Xiuchen’s bad luck that right when he was about to devour Ranran last night, her period had suddenly arrived.
If he hadn’t lost his mory, he would definitely rember that it happened just like this once when they were newly married.
The difference was, back then, their feelings for each other weren’t so deep, and they were rely lured by hormones. But last night was different; their passions were like a raging fire.
Wen Ran hadn’t washed her hair last night, so tonight she washed her hair as well. She hadn’t paid much attention before, but while dressing, she discovered that Mo Xiuchen had found her a long-sleeved cotton pajama set, not a nightgown.
Thinking about it, he was probably worried she would catch cold.
A warmth and sweetness rose in Wen Ran’s heart. She stared at the pajama for a few seconds before quickly dressing up, stepping out of the bathroom. Mo Xiuchen imdiately shifted his gaze from the LCD screen to her, stood up, and strode towards her: “Ranran, let help you dry your hair first.”
His tall figure paused before her, and as he spoke, he took her hand and led her to the vanity table. He sat her down in the chair, his eyes sweeping over her wet hair, paused for a second, and then said, “Your hair is too wet, let towel dry it a bit before I blow-dry it.”
