“Why was he in such a hurry last night?” asked Shen Yuting in surprise, speeding up slightly to catch up and walk alongside her.
Wen Ran shook her head, unsure, “Maybe there was sothing in A City. Xiuchen drove him to the airport.”
“Ranran, the day you ca back from abroad, Ah Mu returned to A City. What could be so important that he had to rush back in the middle of the night? I think he didn’t dare to disturb you and Xiuchen. He probably left because he was afraid that if he stayed, Xiuchen might misunderstand.”
