Shen Yuting hesitated, seemingly wanting to say sothing more, but in the end, she only responded with an “Okay.”
After lunch, Mo Xiuchen really took Wen Ran to the amusent park to play. Upon arriving and seeing the deserted amusent park, Wen Ran blinked in surprise and looked up at Mo Xiuchen, “Mo Xiuchen, why is there no one here?”
Mo Xiuchen got out of the car, preventing the security guard from opening the car door for Wen Ran, and went around the car to open it for her himself.
After getting out of the car, Mo Xiuchen held her hand, their fingers interlocked, and walked towards the carousel two ters away. He smiled and said, “Ranran, today, I’ll accompany you in trying all the rides. How about that?”
“Did you book the entire place?” Although it was a question, her tone was affirmative.
Mo Xiuchen nodded, his smile handso and charming, “I don’t like being disturbed, and I like it even less when people stare at you.”
His gaze shifted to the distance, to the towering Ferris wheel, as Gu Kai’s words echoed in his mind, “I never knew Ranran was afraid of heights before. When she lost her mory, I took her to an amusent park only to discover that Ranran was actually afraid of heights…”
At that mont, Mo Xiuchen felt as if his heart was being harshly grasped, a pain indescribable, instantly spreading through his entire heart chamber.
He thought of the two tis Ranran had jumped off a cliff.
The first ti, she had been kidnapped and drugged, preferring death over dishonor, luckily he arrived just in ti.
The second ti, he didn’t even know…
“Mo Xiuchen, what’s wrong?” Wen Ran frowned slightly and looked up at Mo Xiuchen.
He had just pinched her hand painfully.

He subdued the emotions in his heart and smiled gently, “It’s nothing, Ranran, do you like riding the Ferris wheel?”
Wen Ran’s clear eyes twinkled as she glanced at the distant Ferris wheel, “As long as you’re with , I like it.”
A sentence ‘as long as you’re with , I like it’ like a warm spring breeze instantly cleared the haze in Mo Xiuchen’s heart. His smile deepened, his eyes brimming with tenderness, “Of course, I’ll accompany you.”
Wen Ran’s eyes brightened with a radiant smile, “Let’s start with the carousel first. Since you’ve booked the entire place, we can’t let such money be wasted. This afternoon, let’s try all the fun rides.”
“If you like, we can continue tomorrow.”
Mo Xiuchen was gentle and indulgent.
“No need, even though you have a lot of money, you don’t have to spend it like this.”
“Then how should I spend it?”
“Spend it sowhere else. As for how, you’ll have to figure that out yourself,” Wen Ran said, then pulled her hand from his, ran to the carousel, and pointed to one of the horses, “Mo Xiuchen, shall we take this one?”

Playing was, in fact, no less tiring than working.
Mo Xiuchen, listening to Gu Kai complain to him that day, had disdainfully said, “You played yourself, what’s there to complain about? If I hadn’t lost my mory, it wouldn’t be your turn to accompany Ranran.”
Today, having accompanied Ranran the entire day, he truly realized the effort it involved.
Wen Ran, though afraid of heights, enjoyed everything else imnsely. The two played from one in the afternoon until seven in the evening, by which ti the neon lights of G City were all lit up, yet she still hadn’t had her fill.
Had it not been for considering that Mo Xiuchen’s arm injury had just healed and fearing it would tire him, she wouldn’t have wanted to leave.
“Are you hungry, Ranran?”
Mo Xiuchen had cleverly called Qing Feng and Qing Yang earlier, asking them to pick him and Ranran up at the amusent park. On the way back, he sat with Ranran in the back seat.
Wen Ran, too, was tired from playing, leaning softly against him. At his question, her stomach cooperatively growled, and she smiled wearily, “Hungry.”
Mo Xiuchen affectionately ruffled her hair, “Hold on for a bit, Nanny Zhang has already prepared the al.”
As he finished speaking, he turned to Qing Feng driving in front and said, “Qing Feng, drive faster.”
“Of course, Young Master Mo.”
Qing Feng glanced at the two in the back seat through the rearview mirror, a slight curve forming on his lips.
“You and Qing Yang check on Jiang Liu these next few days, see which nightclub he works at.” Back at the villa, as Mo Xiuchen got out of the car, he let Wen Ran go inside first and instructed Qing Feng.
“Young Master Mo, you want to investigate Jiang Liu?” Qing Feng seed surprised.
A hint of coolness flashed in Mo Xiuchen’s eyes, and his tone was sowhat faint as he replied, “Shen Yuting wants to find Jiang Liu but can’t contact him, so she reached out to Ranran for help.”
“Young Master Mo, I understand. I will find Jiang Liu in the shortest ti possible.”
“Hmm.”
Mo Xiuchen responded indifferently and added, “Don’t give up on continuing to look for Cheng Jia’s whereabouts.”

Three days later, Qing Feng and Qing Yang found Jiang Liu’s whereabouts.
As Gu Kai had said, although G City was big, there were only so many nightclubs, and unlike Cheng Jia who was intentionally hiding, Jiang Liu wasn’t difficult to find since he was in G City.
In the CEO’s office on the top floor,
Mo Xiuchen leaned lazily in his leather chair, listening to Qing Feng’s report, his deep eyes fixed on Wen Ran, who was focused on her work beside him.
“Are you with him now?”
Mo Xiuchen asked, his brow furrowing slightly.
“Yes, Young Master Mo, we are with Jiang Liu now. Should Shen Yuting co over as well?”
“Have her co over, and you wait there.”
Mo Xiuchen said thoughtfully. Earlier, Qing Feng had told him over the phone that Jiang Liu was not only working at the nightclub but also driving a luxury car, and they ran into him coming out with a middle-aged woman.
“Ranran, there’s news about Jiang Liu.”
After hanging up the phone, Mo Xiuchen told Wen Ran.
Wen Ran hadn’t known it was about Jiang Liu and hadn’t been listening attentively to his phone conversation as she was seriously working.
Now, hearing him ntion Jiang Liu, she looked up, her clear eyes flashing with surprise, “Mo Xiuchen, where is Jiang Liu?” That day, Jiang Liu had said he would call her if he was free, but he hadn’t called these past two days.
Now that Mo Xiuchen had located him, her worries suddenly eased.
“He is now with Qing Feng and Qing Yang. Call Shen Yuting and tell her to go find him now.” Mo Xiuchen paused before giving an address.
That was where Jiang Liu was currently living.
An internal call ca through, saying the important client he had an appointnt with today had arrived. After ending the call, Mo Xiuchen said softly to Wen Ran, “Ranran, call Shen Yuting. If she asks you to co along, refuse.”
“Okay!”
Wen Ran nodded, Mo Xiuchen smiled satisfactorily, strode out of the office to et the client in the conference room, and Wen Ran dialed Shen Yuting’s number.
