“I’m not sad. I just hate that he died so early,” Bai Yiyi spoke with a cold tone, denying the fact that she could feel sad for a man who had never fulfilled his duties as a father.

Bai Yiyi lowered her gaze. When she looked up at Gu Kai again, she spoke faintly, “Doctor Gu, if you’re busy, you should go ahead. Li En can take Miss Wen ho.”
She didn’t want him to co to her house, unwilling to let him see her daughter.
Gu Kai narrowed his eyes, his lips curving into a cool, thin smile, “I don’t feel secure with soone else escorting Ranran. Let’s go. Staying out in the cold wind for too long isn’t good; if Ranran catches a cold, I wouldn’t be able to explain myself.”
With that, he took a few steps forward, took Wen Ran’s hand, and they headed toward their car parked nearby, not looking back to see if Li En and Bai Yiyi were following.
