Hendry Hampton was taken aback. His mother surely didn’t expect Nia Mitchell would still dare to contact , let alone try to take back her own belongings.
He initially wanted to leave directly, but this thought suddenly made him halt his steps.
"Mom, I just rembered I have sothing to do. Can you go to the Royal View Villa on my behalf and pick up my grey suit for ?"
As Hendry spoke, he handed her the keys.
Mrs. Hampton hesitated for a mont. She had a banquet to attend later.
But from ho to the Royal View Villa and back should take about an hour, and the banquet wouldn’t start for at least another two hours.
She had enough ti. Since her son made the request, she would run the errand.
"Alright, but rember to co ho early. Your father has placed you under house arrest."
Her son had returned earlier this morning, greeted with nothing but a cold face from his father.
He had even declared that he would not allow their son to go out for two months, insisting that he stay at ho.
That was impossible. As his mother, she knew Hendry’s temperant better than anyone.
"I know, Mom. You’re the best to in this family."
After saying this, he opened the door and left.
Mrs. Hampton went into the house to freshen up, changed into a dazzling outfit, and then stepped out the door. The driver had been waiting outside for so ti.
"Go to the Royal View Villa. Please drive steadily, I get carsick."
Mrs. Hampton shot the driver a disdainful glance, her lip curling. Look at the clothes he’s wearing, and that submissive way about him, she scoffed internally. No wonder he’ll be nothing more than a driver his entire life.
"Yes, ma’am. Please rest assured."
The driver enthusiastically helped her close the door and then hurried back to the driver’s seat.
"Drive a bit faster. Don’t drive our luxury car at the sa slow pace as those inferior vehicles."
Mrs. Hampton settled into her seat, straightened her clothes, and then pulled out a mirror to examine herself.
Are those crow’s feet appearing again?
The house has been in such an uproar these past few days, I haven’t had the mind to take care of my skin. I absolutely must get a facial tomorrow.

Nia Mitchell got out of a taxi and looked at the luxurious villa in front of her, a bitter smile creeping onto her lips.
The events of that night were still fresh in her mind; how quickly things had changed.
Nia opened the grand gate and walked in, looking at the familiar arrangent of the house.
She had always fantasized about her future with Hendry. Back then, even though she was living a lie, she had been happy, hadn’t she?
Entering the bedroom, Nia went to grab her suitcase, and one by one, removed her clothes from the wardrobe and neatly folded them.
These clothes might not be valuable, but they were all she had left.
Suddenly, as if struck by a thought, she walked to the side and picked up a picture fra.
In the photo was a very sweet family of three. The little girl, probably only one or two years old, was being held by her father, smiling happily.
"Mom, I got married, but the groom is soone else."
Nia smiled, gently caressing the young woman in the picture fra, and softly told her about her situation.
She didn’t ntion being abandoned. She only spoke of how the man in her life treated her well.
Mrs. Hampton arrived at the Royal View Villa and got a huge fright. Had their ho been broken into?
Why was the door wide open?
Mrs. Hampton called the driver and had him go in first while she followed behind.
The spacious hall was empty, devoid of people. Suddenly, a faint noise could be heard from upstairs. Mrs. Hampton glared angrily at the driver, telling him to go upstairs quickly and see what was happening.
The driver went upstairs, and suddenly, Mrs. Hampton found herself alone in the grand foyer.
Looking around, she wondered if there might be so culprits hiding sowhere in the house.
With that thought in mind, she fearfully scrambled up the stairs in her fifteen-centiter-high heels.
