Nia Mitchell staggered backward in terror. Blood! Blood—
"AH!"
Mrs. Hampton sat up, noticing the blood all around, and nearly fainted with fright.
She brushed her hand against her face and saw blood on her fingers. Her nose was tingling with pain, and she could feel warm liquid constantly flowing down.
Nia Mitchell was also frightened. Although she now thoroughly detested Mrs. Hampton, she had never experienced sothing so grueso.
The driver imdiately rushed forward to help Mrs. Hampton, who was sitting on the ground with her nose out of shape. He too was terrified.
"Madam, we need to get you to the Hospital imdiately," the driver urged.
Mrs. Hampton then rembered. Right, she had to go to the Hospital. She still wanted her nose.
So much blood. It was absolutely horrifying.
Nia stood still in shock, staring at the pool of blood on the ground.
"What are you standing there for?" the driver demanded, then grabbed Nia. "You’re the culprit!" he accused, his contempt apparent. "Don’t you want to go to the Hospital?"
Nia’s arm ached from his grip. She tried to struggle free, but the harder she struggled, the tighter the driver’s grip beca.
The driver didn’t dare to face the upcoming situation by himself. He decided it would be best to leave Nia to deal with the ss.
Nia, sowhat dazed, was forced into the car. The driver didn’t dare let her sit in the back, so he made her sit in the passenger seat.
Mrs. Hampton kept wiping the blood from her nose with a tissue, her heart pounding like a drum.

Hendry Hampton was leisurely sipping coffee in a café.
If Nia confronts Mom, she’s bound to get the worst of it. Will she call then? he thought.
Hendry’s hand, holding the coffee cup, paused. What’s wrong with ? Why am I thinking about Nia?
Suddenly, his phone started ringing. He picked it up swiftly, surprised to see it was his mother calling.
She must be calling to tell she ran into Nia Mitchell today. She’s definitely going to gloat about how she humiliated her.
However, he was shocked when he heard the voice on the other end of the line.
"Hello? SOB... Hendry..." his mother sobbed through the phone.
"What happened?" Hendry asked.
"SOB... That little harlot, Nia Mitchell, HISS... she actually hit and kicked ! My nose... AH, my nose..." Mrs. Hampton wailed, thoroughly panicked.
"Don’t panic, Mom," Hendry said soothingly. "Tell slowly. Where are you right now?"
"We’re on our way to the Hospital," she replied.
"Okay, don’t be scared. I’ll call Dad right now, and we’ll go to the Hospital to et you," Hendry promised.
"Okay, okay... Can you co quickly? SOB, SOB... Please hurry," Mrs. Hampton pleaded.
At this mont, Mrs. Hampton sounded like a lost child, utterly insecure and desperate for company.
Nia clenched her fists; she was terrified too. An image of Maxwell Peary flashed in her mind.
Quickly, she pulled out her phone and dialed his number.
RING... RING... RING...
Nia trembled as she lowered her phone; the call went unanswered.
The driver sped towards the Hospital. It wasn’t long before they arrived, and Mrs. Hampton was rushed into an operating room.
A young nurse walked over, looking at Nia and the driver. "Excuse , are you the patient’s family? Please go pay the surgery fees."
The driver strode up to Nia, his face grim. "Go pay the fees now!" he snapped. "You don’t expect to pay, do you?"
Nia clenched her fists, her hands trembling. She slowly stood up, preparing to leave.
"Don’t even think about escaping," the driver warned. "You won’t get far."
The Hampton family was powerful and influential. A young girl like her couldn’t possibly escape.
If a stranger had assaulted Mrs. Hampton, the Hamptons might have had to investigate. But Nia Mitchell... everyone in the Hampton family knew her.
For her, there was no escape.
