All the secretaries in the Office Room were furious, waiting anxiously for Nia Mitchell’s words.
Nobody expected that, although she was writing furiously, her words were not intended for them.
After Nia Mitchell sent another ssage to the CEO, she sensed a strange silence in the Office Room.
What’s going on?
Why did she suddenly feel so creeped out?
Everyone... what’s wrong?
Nia Mitchell looked around. Even though nothing seed out of place, she felt like everyone was watching her.
Nia Mitchell’s slow realization had unfortunately landed soone in trouble: Diana Hill.
And so, nurous people bombarded Diana Hill with private ssages.
Seriously? In this Office Room, only Diana Hill and the newcor, Nia Mitchell, were sowhat familiar. If Nia hadn’t been ssaging Diana Hill just now, who else could it possibly have been? Damn it, that has to be it!
Everyone was convinced Diana Hill was privy to an earth-shattering secret.
Diana Hill was terrified. She just wanted to be an unremarkable little secretary! Please, spare !
Of course, no one believed her.
"Do we really have to set a specific ti?"
Nia Mitchell was still trying to argue with Maxwell Peary, her fingers flying furiously across the keyboard.
HMPH!
You dare force ? Fine! I’ll smash this keyboard, and you can buy a new one!
However, the CEO clearly didn’t lack the money for it.
Nia Mitchell struggled, shaking her head fiercely. She didn’t care whether Maxwell Peary lacked the money for it or not.
She was silently protesting, expressing her fury.
She wanted to rise in defiance.
However, that budding fla of rebellion was instantly doused by the CEO’s next ssage.
"This Sunday. I’ve already cleared my schedule."
Nia Mitchell felt a lump of blood stick in her throat, unable to swallow or spit it out.
The CEO truly had a way of crushing people without lifting a finger. She was defeated once more.
Dejectedly, Nia Mitchell closed the chat window. anwhile, Diana Hill, unable to bear the barrage of ssages any longer, started to ping Nia.
"Um... check the group chat."
Diana Hill wasn’t one to pry into gossip; that was invading soone’s privacy.
Nia Mitchell paused. Group chat? What group chat?
Three minutes later, Nia Mitchell finally located a group chat for the Secretary Departnt.
Alright, so I’m only just discovering that there’s actually a group chat here.
So, she opened it... and her expression instantly darkened.
Are these people nuts?! What on earth does her breakup have to do with them?
"Who hasn’t fallen for a scumbag before? My personal matters are none of your damn business!!!"
The three exclamation marks made her fury clear to everyone.
The CEO was bullying her!
Even the little vixens in the CEO’s harem were bullying her!
Once her ssage went through, the group chat stirred again.
"Well, well, finally decided to stop playing dead."
"Couldn’t keep up the act anymore, huh?"
"I hate people like that. So two-faced."
"Maybe she’s just a Gold Digger. To actually set her sights on the big boss this ti, she’s simply asking for it."
"I agree with the comnt above."
"Agree 1."
"Agree 2."
...
Nia Mitchell broke out in a cold sweat. She couldn’t possibly out-argue so many people, but silence would be taken as admission.
Damn it! If I can’t beat the CEO, surely I can handle you lot!
"So what if I’ve set my sights on the big boss? If you’ve got the nerve, go ahead and try to seduce him yourselves! You’re all just jealous, aren’t you?"
Nia Mitchell sent this ssage with a smirk. HMPH! You say I’m shaless? Fine, I’ll be shaless for all of you to see! You claim I’m seducing Maxwell Peary? Alright then, I admit it! I *am* seducing him! What are you going to do about it? Surely you don’t fancy yourselves as clowns dispatched by the legitimate wife to take down the Mistress, do you?
