Yancy Hastings didn’t bother with him anymore and looked down at Nia Mitchell.
"Let’s go."

After speaking, Samuel Peary turned and walked back inside without lingering.
Nia Mitchell finally breathed a sigh of relief. I didn’t expect Uncle Peary’s father to be so domineering, actually intending to send away!
"What a troubleso woman. I don’t know what it is about you that has bewitched Maxwell," Yancy Hastings muttered under his breath, taking long strides forward.
"Troubleso? If you think I’m so troubleso, you didn’t have to co!"
Nia Mitchell had suffered enough humiliation at Peary Manor today. Hearing Yancy Hastings’ disparaging comnts made her feel even worse.
"You think I wanted to co?"
Yancy Hastings stopped in his tracks, rolling his eyes with disdain.
Logically, as a grown man, he shouldn’t bicker with a woman like this, but... For so reason, whenever he saw Nia Mitchell, especially when it concerned Maxwell Peary, he seed to transform into a different person.
"Then why did you co?" Nia Mitchell finally caught up to him and also stopped.
"I only ca because of Maxwell. Did you think it was for you?" Yancy Hastings said with a sneer, clearly disgusted by Nia Mitchell’s current attitude.
"Nia Mitchell, if it weren’t for Maxwell, I wouldn’t spare you a second glance even if you dropped dead right in front of ."
The mont Yancy Hastings finished speaking, a military vehicle suddenly drove up, stopping between them.
"A car will be here to take you back soon."
After saying this, Yancy Hastings got into the vehicle and sped off, leaving Nia Mitchell standing alone, completely bewildered.

Nia Mitchell pouted. Not long after she got into the car that arrived for her, she received a call from Maxwell Peary.
"Uncle Peary, I’m on my way ho now," Nia Mitchell said quickly, afraid he might worry. She imdiately got to the most important point.

Yancy Hastings already called and reported this. I’ve made a note of it this ti. When the ti cos, I’ll make Samuel Peary pay the price he deserves.
Hearing Maxwell Peary’s brief words over the phone, Nia Mitchell pouted again.
"Your trip to Provence... was it because..." Nia Mitchell hesitated, her words trailing off. Although she didn’t believe what those two at Peary Manor had said, the matter was stuck in her throat like a thorn.
