"Who...who has a young master?! There’s none, none, none!"
Nia Mitchell snapped, shaking her head hastily.
Both of them had taken precautions when they did...that thing. There’s no way there could be a young master.
"Alright, alright, there’s none. Just be careful."
Frederick Goldsmith looked at Nia Mitchell, laughing, just as Maxwell Peary walked into the Dining Hall.
"There really isn’t one."
How could Nia Mitchell not hear Frederick’s perfunctory tone? He clearly didn’t believe what she said.
She turned to look at the real culprit, Maxwell, and felt furious.
"I said there’s none! Ask him if you don’t believe !"
She pointed a small finger directly at Maxwell Peary, who had just entered the Dining Hall.
Frederick was startled. No matter how much courage he borrowed, he would never dare to ask Maxwell.
"What are you asking ?"
Maxwell ca over. He had heard their conversation from outside; how could he not know what they were talking about?
He asked knowingly, just wanting to see Nia Mitchell blushing and furious.
"Ti to eat."
Nia Mitchell didn’t give Frederick a chance to speak and directly led Maxwell toward the dining table.
Frederick chuckled and turned away, leaving the whole Dining Hall to the two of them.
"I have so business to attend to later. Do you want to co along?"
Maxwell took a sip of the porridge in front of him. He had received a call when he had just returned and gone upstairs to change his clothes.
Over two hours had already passed; he had to go after eating.
"What would I do with your business?"
Nia Mitchell’s sentence was not a question, but a statent.
Let alone that her relationship with Maxwell hadn’t been made public yet. Even if it had, it wouldn’t be appropriate for her to follow the CEO on his business matters.
Seeing her say this, Maxwell didn’t force her.
"Alright, you go and rest later. I’ll try to co back as soon as possible."
Nia Mitchell nodded, behaving very obediently.
"Do drive safely."
The harmonious dinner concluded, and Nia Mitchell, full to the brim, saw Maxwell out. She only turned back into the house after his car disappeared from sight.
"It’s cold at night. You should rest early, Madam."
Frederick Goldsmith ca over, handing her a glass of juice.
"Yes, you too, Butler Goldsmith."
After saying this, Nia Mitchell carried her juice and went upstairs.
Despite the many servants in the spacious Villa, she still felt as if she were the only one there.
The large bed in the Main Bedroom was slightly ssy; she hadn’t tidied it when she ca downstairs earlier.
Blushing, she ran over to pull off the bedsheet, then found a clean one in the cupboard and replaced it.
After washing up, she lay alone on the large bed. The text ssage incident from today still weighed on her mind, refusing to dissipate.
Seeing that it wasn’t too late, Nia Mitchell dialed Charles Northwood’s number.
"Hello?"
A woman’s voice ca from the other end. Nia Mitchell was taken aback, glancing at the display on her phone.
It was Charles Northwood’s number.
"Uh, I’m looking for Charles Northwood."
Nia Mitchell was montarily unsure how to react. Had Charles Northwood lost his phone?
"Professor Northwood drank too much and is now asleep."
The woman’s voice, sweet as a nightingale’s, still ca from the other end, very pleasant to hear.
"Drank too much?"
Nia Mitchell found it hard to believe. How could Charles Northwood, who was usually so self-disciplined, get drunk?
"Oh, then who are you?"
She still asked the question. She couldn’t rember Charles Northwood having any other won around him.
"Oh, I am Professor Northwood’s student. I happened to et him at the Bar when he was drunk, so I brought him back."
