She was starting to doubt if he was actually her younger brother.

Grandpa instantly pulled his hands behind his back, staring at Annie with wide, round eyes.

Controlling her temper, Annie tried to explain. This diamond ring is too expensive, isn’t it?

Grandpa turned his head away, sulking.
This must be what they an by a ’childish old man.’
"Grandpa, you’re... trying to claim it as your own, aren’t you!?"
Annie looked at her grandfather with suspicion, as if she had discovered a new continent.

Grandpa imdiately bristled. Is he that kind of person?
"No? Then give it back to !"
Annie arched an eyebrow, extended her hand, and beckoned for the ring.
"I won’t!"
What if Annie put it on? Would he have to snatch it from her? No, no! That would be too undignified.
"You! He didn’t even give it to you! You... you’re shaless!"
Annie was completely at a loss for words to describe this old man.
"Fine, I’ll be shaless! Just tell where that brat works, and Grandpa here will personally deliver it."

The man was about thirty years old, powerfully built, stood at approximately 1.8 ters tall, and had Asian features.
"Ghost?"
Owen looked around in surprise but didn’t notice anything unusual.
Ghost, an assassin, a world-class wanted criminal, bounty in the top five, and never caught.
"It’s . What? So surprised?"
Ghost arched an eyebrow and lightly thumped Owen Lewis on the chest.
"How’s it going? Any business lately? Don’t forget to send so my way."
Owen Lewis chuckled at his words.
"What, are you short of money? The jobs I have are all small ones."
Owen Lewis and Ghost casually found a bench and sat down.
"I take small jobs too. Just a couple of days ago, I took a one-million job."
"You took a one-million job? Aren’t you afraid of devaluing yourself?"
For a world-class assassin like him, even a ten-million job would be considered small.
"I have no choice. I recently bought so heavy equipnt, and I’m a bit tight on cash. Besides, those international agents are relentlessly pursuing , so I have to earn so extra money. I’m definitely worth a lot, but the problem is, the money doesn’t always make it into my hands."
