Nia Mitchell stuck out her little tongue. "Madgar Pavilion is great! Why shouldn’t I like it?"
"Uncle, don’t you like Madgar Pavilion?"
When he asked a question like that, it was the only conclusion she could draw.
TSK TSK. If Evelyn Peary knew, she would be absolutely heartbroken.
"No."
Maxwell Peary responded, his tone revealing no emotion.
So, Nia Mitchell, who wasn’t always the quickest on the uptake, couldn’t tell if he was being truthful or not.
After the two changed their clothes, they got into the car and headed towards Madgar Pavilion.
Today, Maxwell Peary didn’t drive himself; he had the chauffeur drive instead.
So, both of them sat in the back.
"Uncle, are you busy?"
She had thought he wanted to rest a bit, but it turned out he wasn’t driving so he could deal with business matters.
Maxwell Peary shifted his gaze from his laptop, turning to look at his pouting young wife beside him.
"It’s alright. Why? Are you bored?"
With that, Maxwell Peary prepared to close his laptop to accompany her.
Seeing this, Nia Mitchell imdiately reached out to stop him.
"No, not at all! I’m not bored in the slightest. Uncle, please continue with your work."
She really didn’t want Maxwell Peary to be dealing with business matters late into the night.
Maxwell Peary hesitated for a mont, glanced at the items on his laptop, then sighed.
"Alright, I’ll deal with this as quickly as possible."
So, Maxwell Peary forwarded all the tasks that didn’t absolutely require his personal attention to Owen Lewis.
Owen Lewis, far away in Capital Town’s Underground Black Market, felt the corners of his mouth twitch when he saw the emails he had received.
"Second Young Master, what’s wrong?"
The man sitting opposite Owen Lewis looked a bit puzzled and asked.
"What else could it be? Damn Alan Morgan!"
Damn it! He just up and left. That would have been fine if it ended there, but so much work got dumped on .
Boss, oh Boss, just let handle the shady stuff! Don’t push into the public eye, alright?
Looking at those files made his head spin; he really had no idea how Alan Morgan managed it all.
"By the way, you ntioned earlier that soone was asking about and had even traced to the Black Market?"
Owen Lewis found it incredible. It wasn’t particularly unusual for soone to find out he was in the Black Market. After all, in his line of work, while he did his best to hide his tracks, he also intentionally let so information slip. Otherwise, how would potential partners ever find him?
However, this person had managed to track him here in just half a day.
"Yes, and... that person is..."
TSK TSK. Annie Davidson’s grandfather, huh?
Owen Lewis, how could you regress so much after getting married?
Poor Second Young Master Owen Lewis could only rub his temples.

After so thought, Owen Lewis ca up with this solution.

Owen Lewis’s lip twitched. He had to do this. It wouldn’t be good to let people know he was involved in shady dealings.

The man asked. That was Annie Davidson’s grandfather, after all. They couldn’t hit him or scold him; they probably wouldn’t be able to stop him either.
"Can’t stop him?! Then what use are any of you?"
You can’t even stop an old man. TSK TSK.
The man was speechless.

As soon as they entered the Grand Gate, Nia Mitchell felt that Evelyn Peary was acting very strange.
Usually, she wouldn’t stand at the Grand Gate Entrance waiting for them. What was going on today?
