Charles Northwood liked spicy food, which Nia Mitchell knew, but she hadn’t expected him to have such a formidable tolerance for spice.
"Please thank Director Pei for ," he said.
Charles Northwood smiled, still elegant, although it felt like sothing about him was changing.
Fiona Sutton couldn’t help but fixate on him for a long mont before snapping back to reality.
Seeing the Manager looking at her intently, she frowned in annoyance.
"Miss Sutton, Director Pei also instructed that a few dishes be made specifically for you," the Manager said.
As he spoke, the Waiter brought over several dishes that Fiona Sutton liked.
Fiona Sutton froze for a mont, then frowned, her face etched with displeasure.
She really didn’t want to eat these dishes. She disliked this Director Pei, whom she had never even t.
"Thank you, Manager."
Nia Mitchell laughed lightly, and after the Manager left, she turned her gaze to Fiona Sutton.
"Fiona, I..."
"I don’t want to talk to you."
Fiona Sutton interrupted Nia Mitchell, then resud eating, pointedly avoiding the few dishes that had been placed directly in front of her.

Singing karaoke at the Royal Dynasty; could they really go anywhere else for dinner tonight?
