"We’ll be going to the hospital tomorrow morning."
Maxwell Peary sat on the couch, beside her.
Nia Mitchell’s laughter ca to an abrupt end, sowhat taken aback.
"Go to the hospital for what?"
How did he suddenly bring up this topic?
Nia Mitchell blinked in confusion, her body half-turned towards the CEO, a look of inquiry on her face.
"For a pre-pregnancy check-up."
Only then will she realize the significance of this.
Upon hearing Maxwell Peary’s words, Nia Mitchell’s face instantly turned red, and she playfully hit the CEO’s arm.
"What happened?"
Maxwell Peary lowered his gaze towards her. He knew she was embarrassed but still deliberately asked.
Nia Mitchell did not respond. Seeing the two glasses of milk on the table, she imdiately picked them up.
"The white one is yours, Uncle, and the light pink one is mine."
She laughed as she placed the glass of milk in the CEO’s large hand.
"Why is your milk this color?"
Maxwell Peary furrowed his brows, finding Nia Mitchell’s milk color rather bizarre.
"It has fresh strawberry juice in it."
Nia Mitchell’s eyes crinkled into slits from giggling. Since there was no flavored milk like the ones in the supermarket here, she had no choice but to add strawberry juice.
She took a little sip. MMM, super delicious.
It was a hundred tis better than the packaged flavored milk from the supermarket.
"It’s really good, Uncle, want to give it a try?"
Nia Mitchell fluttered her big eyes, instantly holding out her glass of milk to him.
"You can try ginger slices tomorrow."
Maxwell Peary sat there unperturbed, lifting his head to look at Nia Mitchell.
"Um..."
Nia Mitchell was speechless with exasperation, her mouth twitching slightly. How ruthless.
"Uncle, if you don’t want to drink it, then don’t."
To think he’d actually threaten her with sothing like this! So annoying.

Maxwell Peary responded casually, continuing to drink his milk.
In his mind, though, he found himself wondering if the butler had too little to do recently, that he was always occupied with such trivial things. Looking at the glass of milk in his hand, he realized he’d never drunk this stuff before. Weird.
Sowhere in the dining hall, a butler who was cleaning strawberries suddenly sneezed loudly.
What’s going on? Is soone gossiping about him? Feeling a sudden chill down his spine, it couldn’t be Young Master Peary talking about him, could it?
Rembering how the Young Madam had brought two glasses of milk upstairs earlier, Frederick Goldsmith shuddered.
Everyone in the villa knew that Young Master Peary disliked drinking milk. Only the Young Madam remained oblivious.
If Nia Mitchell had known that the milk she kindly brought was so unappreciated by the CEO, she would have stopped long ago. That way, the CEO wouldn’t, in the near future, finally beco fed up with a glass of milk every night, take it out on Frederick Goldsmith, and ultimately leave Nia Mitchell beet-red with embarrassnt.
"Uncle, can we not go to the hospital tomorrow?"
Rabina Mitchell, cradling her milk glass, mumbled, Hospitals are places no one really likes to go, right?
"Hmm? Why not?"
Maxwell Peary was a bit perplexed. It’s just a check-up, after all. Isn’t this being more responsible for our future child?
