Nia Mitchell didn’t care what the CEO was yelling behind her; she just went PATTER PATTER PATTER PATTER into the kitchen.
In the kitchen, everyone was busy preparing dinner, and they all turned to look when she ca in.
"Miss."
Frederick Goldsmith ca right over to greet her, assuming she had co to request a particular dish.
"Frederick."
Seeing a familiar face, Nia Mitchell happily strolled over.
"Do you have any strawberries left?"
Batting her eyelashes, Nia Mitchell unveiled her cutest expression.
Her eyes filled with longing, she pouted at Frederick Goldsmith.
"Uh... yes."
Frederick Goldsmith nodded. There were a few left, originally for her strawberry milkshake later in the evening.
"I want them!"
Upon hearing there were so left, Nia Mitchell imdiately got excited and stretched out her little paws towards Frederick Goldsmith.
Seeing her like this, Frederick Goldsmith had no choice but to go over and give her the remaining strawberries.
"Miss, if you eat these, there won’t be any strawberries left for your milkshake this evening."
Frederick Goldsmith gave her a heads-up so she wouldn’t be disappointed later on.
Nia Mitchell nodded vigorously at Frederick Goldsmith’s words.
"It’s fine if there isn’t."
Strawberry milkshakes are nothing compared to actual strawberries! I’ll eat first and worry about tonight when tonight cos.
Rabina Mitchell, holding her plate of strawberries, happily walked towards the Living Room, only to see the CEO standing not far away with a dark expression.
Uh...
Did the CEO order to stop when I was running off earlier?
He seems upset again.
But...
I was really craving strawberries. And given his deanor earlier, it was clear he wanted to negotiate terms.
Anyone who wouldn’t rush to grab the strawberries in that situation would be a fool.
So, Nia Mitchell pouted her lips at him and walked around him to sit on the sofa.
Seeing Rabina Mitchell’s defiant attitude, the CEO wasn’t pleased and imdiately walked over.
"Who allowed you to run into the kitchen? What if you had fallen over?"
Maxwell Peary was worried sick. Looking at her current state, if she wasn’t careful and a tragedy occurred, she would certainly have plenty to cry about.
Nia Mitchell was taken aback. She ignored him and ate two strawberries. The atmosphere was so quiet it beca a bit awkward, so she finally had to speak.
"I’m not pregnant, you know. If I fall, I can just get up again. Besides, I was being careful. How could I possibly fall?"
Nia Mitchell’s attitude clearly showed she wouldn’t recognize the danger until it was too late.
Listening to her made the CEO’s head ache.
"What kind of absurd logic is that?"
Maxwell Peary rebuked her, displeased, and reached out to poke her on the head.
"Ouch!"
Nia Mitchell swatted his mischievous hand away, then clutched her head.
"Don’t poke , it hurts! I even wore shoes this ti. You should be praising ."

If it were in the past, I would have rushed, going PATTER PATTER PATTER PATTER into the kitchen without even wearing shoes.
Now I’m improving bit by bit, changing little by little, and he’s still constantly nagging .
