Why did she suddenly feel that this whole situation was also very dangerous?
Nia Mitchell paused. Evelyn Peary really is too sensitive, she thought.
"I know," Nia said. "He’s too busy to accompany tonight, so we’re going out to play."
As soon as Evelyn Peary heard this, her face lit up with a wide smile.
"Alright!"
She agreed decisively. Who would hesitate for a chance to go out and have fun for free?
"Okay, you head over there now. To save ti on the road, I’ll start heading that way first," Nia said, then hung up the phone.

I absolutely have to escape tonight, or I’m going to die a horrible death.
The thought of such a miserable fate made her shake her head in fear.
Nia Mitchell quickly finished the last few strawberries, then carried the fruit plate towards the kitchen. My perfect excuse? I’m just returning the plate, she mused.
"Young Madam, you can just leave those there. I’ll co and get them later," Frederick Goldsmith said, though inwardly he was ecstatic.
Seeing how happy he looked, Nia Mitchell glanced at the ti.
"Frederick," Nia instructed sweetly, "Mr. Peary has gone upstairs. Could you call him down for dinner? I’m going to wash my hands."
Frederick Goldsmith, not noticing anything amiss, nodded and left.
Watching his retreating figure until he disappeared around the corner, Nia Mitchell imdiately grabbed her bag and bolted.
After she had run a fair distance along the asphalt road, Evelyn Peary’s car arrived.
"Hurry, hurry!" Nia urged, panting heavily.
Evelyn Peary watched her, a slight smile playing on her lips.
"Nia, are you that desperate to go play? Why such a rush, down to the minute?"
Why does it feel like Nia isn’t going out to play, but more like she’s escaping? Evelyn wondered.
"Yes, yes! I really want to play! Hurry up and drive!" Nia exclaid, terrified the CEO would catch up. She urged Evelyn on, wishing she could press the accelerator herself.
Shaking her head, Evelyn Peary drove Nia, speeding towards the Amusent Park.
Capital Town’s largest amusent park was exceptionally beautiful at night, so it drew large crowds. After they paid the entrance fee, Nia Mitchell grabbed Evelyn Peary’s hand, and they dashed inside.
"Wow! I’ve never been here before, though I’ve seen it from a distance," Nia said.
The amusent park was huge and extrely famous in Capital Town, so Nia was thrilled once they were inside.
"Evelyn, Evelyn, let’s go take a picture over there!" Nia said, pointing her little finger at a lovers’ tree not far away.
"Co on, Nia," Evelyn replied. "You should be taking pictures there with my brother."
A lovers’ tree? Who ever heard of two won taking a picture there?
Hearing Evelyn Peary ntion Maxwell Peary, Nia shrugged and stuck out her tongue playfully. It was only then she realized she’d turned her phone off earlier and hadn’t switched it back on.
Sneaking off to a spot not too far away, she turned on her phone.
Sure enough, nurous missed calls.
"Hello?"
Just then, the CEO’s call ca through. She could only brace herself and answer.
"Where did you go?"
anwhile, Maxwell Peary was sitting in his study, watching a live feed on his computer. The star of this feed was none other than Nia Mitchell.
Heh. Did Nia Mitchell think she was being sneaky, watching all that nonsensical trash? He’d known all along.
"I’m out having fun with Evelyn," Nia said. "Don’t wait up for for dinner. Just eat and go to bed early."
Nia rushed out the words and then, CLICK, hung up the phone.
