"You... you..."
Principal Wu was so angry he kept trying to smooth his chest, struggling to catch his breath. He truly believed people could die from anger in this world. And now, he felt he was about to.
"Fiona Sutton, Nia Mitchell, the two of you pack up and get out now!"
Principal Wu was so furious, his very liver ached from it.
"Fine, not like I care!"
Once Fiona Sutton’s temper flared, not even a team of wild horses could drag her back. With that, she actually went upstairs to pack her things.
"Hey! Fiona... Fiona, don’t act rashly!"
Nia Mitchell imdiately rushed after her, her mouth twitching, a worried expression on her face. She didn’t want Fiona to be unable to graduate because of her own problems. She knew that although Fiona acted indifferent on the surface, she actually cared more deeply than anyone.
Fiona Sutton ignored Nia and went straight upstairs.
Nia Mitchell tried to follow but was suddenly stopped by the security guards.
"What are you doing?"
Nia Mitchell eyed the security guards warily, then turned to look at Principal Wu. "Principal Wu, what is the aning of this?"
Principal Wu sat down and looked at Nia Mitchell. "If your parents don’t co today, you’re not leaving this place!"
With so many students watching, he couldn’t afford to lose face. He had to resolve this matter flawlessly.
Hearing these words, Nia Mitchell clenched her fists in anger.
Even Charles Northwood hadn’t expected Principal Wu to act this way; he too was inwardly fuming. Then, he took out his phone and began making calls.
"What are you doing?"
When Principal Wu saw Charles Northwood take out his phone, he grew wary and asked with a frown.
Charles Northwood didn’t even glance at Principal Wu as he directly dialed.
"Hello? Director Zheng? There’s a bit of a situation at the school. Can you co over?"
"Hello? Director Li? This is Charles Northwood. Yes, there’s a bit of a situation here at school. Could I trouble you to co over?"
"Hello? Is that Director Zhang? Sothing serious has happened at the school. Could you co over?"
"Hello? Director Xu? This is Professor Northwood. The school might need to hold an ergency board eting. Could you please co over?"
"Hello? Director Zhao? Principal Wu has created a bit of a disturbance here. We need to hold an ergency board eting."
Principal Wu stood up from his chair, his expression growing increasingly grim as he walked towards Charles Northwood. Just as he approached, Charles Northwood finished his calls.
"You actually called the board of directors?"
At University A, the real power lay not with the Principal, but with the board of directors working behind the scenes. He never would have imagined Charles Northwood would dare to call the directors over such a trivial matter. The crucial part was, judging by Charles Northwood’s tone, it seed the directors were all preparing to co. A board eting? Could a novice professor like him really convene one?
"At this juncture, my only recourse was to call the board of directors," Charles Northwood stated. "I’ve attempted to reason with you multiple tis."
His unspoken ssage was: I’ve already given you face, but you didn’t want it, so I had to resort to drastic asures. He felt he had no choice; Principal Wu had forced his hand.
Livid, Principal Wu snatched Charles Northwood’s phone and smashed it. "Well, Charles Northwood, you traitor! I knew from the start we shouldn’t have hired you at University A! And now, I’m informing you—you’re fired!"
Principal Wu was beside himself with fury, his anger reaching a boiling point.
"Certainly," Charles Northwood replied. "However, I have a signed contract. If the school dismisses , it will be required to pay a severance penalty."
