The voice of Charles Northwood ca from the other end of the phone. Tara Jason froze, tears imdiately streaming down her face. She could hardly believe her ears and had no idea what Charles Northwood’s words truly ant.

Tara Jason’s voice was choked with sobs; she stood rooted to the spot, her whole body trembling.

Hanging up the phone, Charles Northwood yelled out. Hearing the voice from behind her, Tara Jason spun around and saw Charles Northwood standing in the open doorway of his room.
Instantly, Tara Jason burst into tears. Her face streaked with tears, she stood frozen, unsure how to react. Listening to his words, she hesitated, remaining motionless.
