Nia Mitchell didn’t pay heed to what Belinda Swan was saying. But she never expected to receive a phone call equivalent to a bombshell before she even finished work that evening.

It was her stepmother’s voice in her ear.
Nia Mitchell was a bit stunned, her mind blank.

Her stepmother flew into a rage at Nia Mitchell’s response and imdiately started cursing loudly.
"If I didn’t want to give you money, I would have hung up already."

Her stepmother began berating her angrily, calling her ungrateful.

Suddenly, her father’s voice ca through the phone, and then he took the mobile.
