Molly Harguez finally blurted it out, having long wanted to reveal this.
She didn’t expect Nia Mitchell to be so tactless, thinking these expenses were just chump change in her eyes. She had never seen such a stingy sister before.
Hearing these words, Nia Mitchell furrowed her brows.

Her sharp, cruel words carried far, drawing the gazes of many onlookers nearby. People started pointing and whispering. What a bizarre family, they murmured. And who would have guessed that plainly dressed young lady was involved in sothing like that?
"Nia, didn’t you say you got married?" Mr. Mitchell suddenly spoke.
He felt very sorry for not having been able to attend her wedding. But he truly wished for his daughter’s happiness. If she was married, why would she beco soone else’s mistress?
"Yes, I’m married," Nia Mitchell admitted. However, she didn’t want to reveal who her husband was—not here, not like this.
"Married?" Molly Harguez couldn’t quite believe it, her eyes suddenly gleaming. "You wretched girl, you got married and didn’t even tell us? Who is he? Why didn’t he co to et the parents? I’m telling you, our Mitchell family won’t acknowledge him otherwise! You get him over here, quick! Oh, and all those initial eting gifts, the bride price, and everything—he must make up for all of it!"
Molly Harguez looked as if she could see piles of money waving at her, her face alight with excitent. "If he doesn’t provide all of that, we will not acknowledge this marriage! You know, there was a distant relative from my side of the family, quite handso and exceptionally rich. I was even planning to marry you off to him."
All of Molly Harguez’s worst traits were now on full display, her face a mask of greed.
"Whether I marry anyone or not has nothing to do with you. In any case, the one lying in there is *your* son. Whether you pay his dical fees or not also has nothing to do with ."
Truth be told, Nia Mitchell’s relationship with this brother was very distant. They had little contact and rarely found much to talk about.
"You’re despicable!" Molly Harguez imdiately started to wail, then abruptly plopped down on the ground. "What awful karma is this?
