Nia Mitchell watched their mother-son interaction with great envy.
She turned her head away from them and walked directly to the window, looking at the scenery outside.
Her mother, in her mory, had already beco a blur.
She sighed slightly, standing there, staring into the distance. Her thoughts were already drifting far away.
Seeing Nia like this, her father also felt terrible and ca over to her imdiately.
"Is Young Master Peary still in the hotel?"
Startled, Nia turned to look at her father standing beside her.
"He just left by plane. There’s sothing to deal with in Capital Town," Nia answered.
Her father was a bit stunned but then nodded. Maxwell Peary must be very busy, so it was normal for him to leave.
"You have to take good care of yourself, you’ve lost weight."
His words echoed those of Maxwell Peary. But in her father’s mind, he was picturing her from four years ago.
Compared to four years ago, she really had lost weight.
Nia nodded, a smile spreading across her face.
"Yes, I’ve indeed lost weight, but doesn’t everyone prefer it that way?"

"Dad, you should go eat soon or it’ll get cold," Nia said quickly, noticing his face seed a bit pale.

"Let’s wait and eat with her."

In her father’s eyes, she saw indulgence, helplessness, and love.
At this mont, she suddenly felt she was discovering many things she hadn’t noticed before, experiencing feelings she hadn’t felt before.
Her father... the reason he married Molly Harguez and stayed with her for so many years... it was probably because he genuinely liked her.

Molly Harguez didn’t force him anymore. After wiping his mouth, she sat down with Nia’s father and started eating lunch.
"Your favorite chicken."
As she spoke, Molly Harguez placed the plate of chicken in front of Nia’s father.

Molly Harguez began to eat. After taking a bite, she looked at Nia’s father again.
"Your stomach isn’t very good. Today’s rice is a bit hard, so eat less of it and have more of the other dishes."
